Mountain lions are creatures found in Denver and Nursery Valley .
Background [ ] Together with wolves , raccoons and badgers , mountain lions live in the Nursery Valley, which is lush with vegetation and wildlife. Grass, flowers, and trees are abundant here. These creatures flourish here and show no fear of man.
Characteristics [ ] Mountain lions are solitary for the most part and while they resemble a domestic cat they are around the same size as a human. They are ambush predators, preying on small to medium size animals, their lack of fear towards humans does not make them easier to handle, it makes them more dangerous, even before the Great War humans had been increasingly overlapping on their habitat. They do not appear to have been adversely affected by radiation if any, and their confidence in the new world has seen them migrate into more urban areas such as Denver.
