The Yangtze Memorial[1] is a pre-war landmark in the Mojave Wasteland.
Overview
This memorial is a monument dedicated to American soldiers who gave their lives during the Yangtze Campaign in China at the Yangtze River. Due to its age and lack of maintenance, it is old and weather beaten, but the hand painted signs around it proclaiming "Danger, Deathclaws ahead" are quite new.

Notable Loot
- There is a hollowed-out rock with a peace sign just south of the memorial.
- Due north of the memorial, there is an Abandoned Shack with a reloading bench, a first aid box, ammunition box and a Lad's Life right in front of the toilet, additionally you will find a 9-iron and a dose of Steady just inside the door. There's also a dose of Jet on the floor further in, and a Machete on the counter. You can also find a Doggie treat near the fire that can save you some trouble.
- If you buy a shovel and dig the graves up behind the hollowed-out rock you will find random items.
- Behind the "Warning: Beware of Deathclaws" sign due east of the memorial, you will find a Duffle bag packed with random items next to a skeleton.
Bugs
- As you approach the memorial, you are attacked by Radscorpions and giant radscorpions. The screen starts to flicker black and at times goes totally black apart from your health bar and a few other things. This seems to be fixable by reloading a close save and/ or when you walk away from the memorial.
- - When near the memorial (northwest) and you are standing on top of a small cliff, Victor the robot that saved you, can sometimes be seen in mid air to then fall to his death at the bottom of the cliff. It is unknown if that means he is gone forever but a quick reload and it shouldn't happen again.
