A wolf is a creature found in the Midwest in 2197.

Background[]

Wolves such as those inhabiting the wilds beyond the Far Harbor settlement have been mutated by environmental factors such as the radioactive fog.[1] They are known to travel in packs and howl.[2]

Wolfs are encountered in packs of up to four members. In the early stages of the game, they can mean trouble for low level players. With the help of their high agility and running patterns, they can easily overwhelm the player character and cause them to miss if fired upon.
