Their corporate headquarters and one of their factories make an appearance in Boston in Fallout 4. In the game, the company's name is either spelled Wilson Automatoys, via posters first seen in "Fallout 3", or Wilson Atomatoys, via posters and the company's logo seen in the newer game. It is possible that the Giddyup Buttercup is nuclear powered, as suggested by the latter name.
It is also suggested that the company was making weapons for the U.S. military before the two hours war. The project was named SCYTHE and it consisted the production of landmines for the army. The character in Fallout 4 can learn about the project from various terminals inside the Wilson Automatoys building. All information about the project was to remain secret and the production of toys was limited. Marc Wilson is one of the few people inside the company that know about the project.
Behind the scenes
While this company naturally went under after the Great War, their legacy was continued by the Mothership Zetaaliens. This is seen aboard their mothership, as the aliens have built entire production lines with the specific intent of creating Wilson Automatoy's Giddyup Buttercup toy.
