Whiskey is a food item found in Fallout 3. Drinking it increases Strength one point, which allows you to temporarily carry 10 extra pounds of items, you run the risk of addiction, curable by doctors for a fee. It also boosts your Charisma by 1 point while lowering your Intelligence by 1 point.

Whiskey has all the same effects as Vodka as well as Beer for half the price of and being also more commonly found in various locations around the Wasteland than the former, albeit quite the opposite in both aspects considering the latter.

[edit] Notes

  • Whiskey can be found in bottles in Fallout 3.
  • When you look at the label you can see that the brand is 'Olde Royale Premium Whiskey.'
  • If you look closely at the label on the bottle, you can see a picture of Galileo Galilei in the lower right hand corner.
  • There are a few bottles of Whiskey for free in Tenpenny Tower
  • Whiskey is easy to spot. It has a slight orange glow to it, although not nearly as bright as Nuka-Cola Quantum.
  • Satcom Array NN-03D has miniature versions of full and empty whiskey bottles being used as chess pieces in an upstairs room. This is a possible reference to the movie (and novel) Our Man In Havana, in which a game of chess is played with miniature bottles of whiskey instead of regular chess pieces.
  • The Empty Whisky Bottle is spelled without the e.
