The western revolver is a weapon in the Fallout 4 add-on Nuka-world.
Characteristics
The western revolver is a revolver chambered for the .44 round, mostly used in Dry Rock Gulch. It comes standard with a clean finish and wooden grip in good condition. Unlike the .44 pistol, the western revolver requires the higher ranks of the Gunslinger perk to fully upgrade.
The western revolver is similar both in use and appearance to the .44 pistol found in the Commonwealth. Even with the standard modifications it already deals high damage and with the advanced receiver, it is the hardest hitting ballistic handgun available per round. It suffers the same drawback as its more common counterpart as it has small ammo capacity which cannot be upgraded and takes a bit of time to reload. It is also uncommon, since almost no enemies carry .44 rounds by default and they rarely show up in weapon merchants' stock.
Like its more common counterpart, both the Sole Survivor and NPCs will fire it in single action rather than what its double action appearance suggests. It also has very different firing sound from the .44 pistol despite being different variants of the same weapon.
