Well-Stacked Cairns is a companion perk in the Fallout: New Vegas add-on, Honest Hearts.
Effects
When Follows-Chalk is in your party, reaching any summit in Zion (such as Ranger substations) will reveal all nearby map markers and inspire a heightened sense of awareness (Perception +3) for three minutes.
The trigger area for this perk is usually close to the fast travel point.
There are six summits that trigger this perk listed below with the map markers they reveal:
- The Spine
- Ranger Substation Peregrine
- Ant Burrow
- Virgin Fork Campground
- Eastern Virgin
- Ranger Substation Eagle
- The Aerie
- Sun Sentinels
- Ranger Substation Osprey
Behind the scenes
- A cairn is a man-made pile of stones or rocks used for navigational landmarks. They are commonly found at the summits of mountains.
