The Wattz 2000 Laser Rifle uses micro fusion cells for lasers more powerful than in the case of the Wattz 1000 Laser Pistol, and an extended barrel for additional range.

Having a very long range and acute accuracy, the laser rifle can be effectively used in long distance combat. However, many enemies have good resistance to laser weapons, and as such the laser weapons are rendered much weaker against more formidable adversaries such as Enclave troops (the Adv. Power Armor MK2 has 95% (!!!) resistance against laser damage, for example). It can be used to deliver accurate critical hits from long distances however.
