The Wasteland Survival Guide is a skill book in Fallout: New Vegas.
Background
Published by Moira Brown and co-authored by the Lone Wanderer in 2277, the guide saw distribution throughout the wasteland by travelers. The book provides knowledge on how to survive the harsh wasteland. It obviously became popular, as within a short 4 years, it had already reached as far as Nevada.
Characteristics
Reading this book permanently increases the player's Survival skill by 3 points (4 with Comprehension).

With the add-on Old World Blues, this skill book can be crafted by the player.

Notes
- There are no additional copies to be found in the Dead Money, Honest Hearts or Old World Blues add-ons. You can, however, craft an additional one in Old World Blues with blank books from the Book Chute, 2 Wonderglue, and the correct recipe.
- It is substantially larger than most other skill books.
- This version of the guide is different from the one that the Lone Wanderer owned.
