A walkie-talkie is a miscellaneous item in the Fallout: New Vegas add-on, Honest Hearts.
Characteristics
It has the appearance of a United States Armed Forces handheld radio set, similar to those used by civilians for recreational uses.
Locations
- 2 can be found at the Zion fishing lodge, behind the bar counter in the cabinet.
Notes
- If the Courier does not have a high enough Lockpick skill, the key to the cabinet can be found inside the crate in the restroom, on the other side of the wall.
- After collecting the walkie-talkies, Follows-Chalk will comment periodically about them being more useful than smoke and signal drums.
- They are quest items and can only be removed when given to Daniel.
Behind the scenes
The walkie-talkie appears to have been based off the SCR-536, used extensively by American forces during World War II.
