Wakizashi is a Japanese short sword. The tip seems to be designed to pierce armor.

Wakizashi appears only in Fallout 2. It is used only by the Yakuza gangs found outside New Reno.
The Wakizashi blade is little more than a boosted Combat Knife, with the same AP, Strength requirement and range, for a little more damage. It's slightly weaker than the "Little Jesus".

- Wakizashi means "Side arm" in Japanese.
- The Wakizashi was often worn by Samurai along with the Katana. Together, they created Daisho, which literally means the "large and small" in Japanese.
