Wahl is a convicted counterfeiter and a welder. Because Wahl shot a New California Republic soldier/hostage during a prison escape, his hand was smashed, branded, and his trigger finger cut-off. He's totally pissed at the NCR and wants to get what's in "the box" (he thinks it's worth a lot) just to have a crowning achievement over them. He still welds pretty well, and always wears thick gloves. he wants everyone to leave Denver so he can go back and get the "big treasure".[1]

Wahl has not appeared nor is he mentioned in any published game. He was to appear only in Van Buren, the canceled Fallout 3 by Black Isle Studios. It is not certain if he will appear in any future Fallout game.
