Behind the scenes
- As Juan Cruz is reference to Tom Cruise, Vikki's name is a reference to Nicole Kidman. They were a couple at the time of the game's release and both outspoken about Scientology. The characters lampshade this in a tongue-in-cheek way in multiple lines. The movies Vikki mentions refer to Top Gun, Risky Business and Days of Thunder, correspondingly, in which Tom Cruise starred.
- The note "2 doz. eggs/Milk/TP" is a reference to a New England meme that bread, milk and toilet paper are the things to stock up on in anticipation of a winter storm.
