While identical in damage to the sniper rifle, the Victory rifle has triple the item HP and knocks down targets with Critical hits. However, it pays for this ability with a reduced Critical Multiplier of 3.
The Victory rifle can fire a total of about 250 shots, the equivalent of 50 reloads, from full condition before breaking.

The Victory rifle is inside a locked (Very Hard) locker in the sniper shack overlooking Rockbreaker's Last Gas from a hill to the west. Getting it will require a Lockpick skill of 100. There is no key or trigger that will open the locker; however, Dogmeat can be told to find a weapon in the house and retrieve it from the locker for you. Star Paladin Cross, Jericho, Butch, and Clover will also pick it up to kill the caged radroaches.
