Victory Rifle is one of two unique sniper rifles in .
This sniper rifle is an older model of the famed
DKS-501. Chambered for .308 ammunition, it's also extremely fragile and requires regular repair and maintenance to keep it in working condition.
While identical in strength to the
sniper rifle, the Victory Rifle has an additional 200 item HP, and knocks down targets with Critical hits. However, it pays for this ability with a reduced Critical chance of 3.
The Victory Rifle can fire a total of about 250 shots, the equivalent of 50 reloads, from full
condition before breaking.
Reservist's rifle - Also identical to the sniper rifle in strength, the Reservist's rifle uses less AP to fire, but only holds 3 rounds in a magazine. It also fires slightly faster, and has slightly less recoil when using the scope.

The Victory Rifle is inside a locked (Very Hard) locker in the
sniper shack overlooking Rockbreaker's Last Gas from a hill to the west. Getting it will require a lockpick skill of 100. There is no key or trigger that will open the locker; however, Dogmeat can be told to find a weapon in the house and retrieve it from the locker for you. Star Paladin Cross, Jericho, Butch, and Clover will also pick it up to kill the caged radroaches.
