Vera's outfit is a piece of clothing in the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Dead Money.

CharacteristicsEdit

Vera's outfit is a black evening dress with red trim, formerly worn by actress Vera Keyes in pre-War times. On male Couriers, it appears as a tuxedo with the same color scheme.

The outfit enhances the wearer's personality, giving a boost to Charisma and raising both Barter and Speech skills.

Somewhat surprisingly, the outfit also has a DT of 2.

LocationsEdit

Executive suites - Two copies of the outfit can be found in Vera's apartment; one on her corpse in the corner of the room where you find Christine, and the other in a wall safe near the hotel vault elevator.

NotesEdit

• Giving Vera's outfit to Veronica will not result in her teaching you the Scribe Counter.
• When given to Cass, she will wear the dress if no higher DT armor is in her inventory.
• In the Pip-Boy the Vault Boy icon for Vera's outfit will be female, which is unique for an apparel icon.
• In the EFF part of Pip-boy's stat screen the dress is listed as 'nightwear'.

BugsEdit

• pc xbox360 If you pick up a second Vera's outfit while already wearing one, the second one might not appear. ^[verified]
  • xbox360 To fix this, drop the dress. The sound of the dress dropping will play, but the dress will still be in your inventory. Drop it again, and on the ground will be 2 separate dresses. Picking them up individually will usually fix this glitch.
• pc Occasionally a bug will occur causing the dress to be worn on males as a dress and not a suit. ^[verified]
• ps3 If in possession of both dresses, and one is dropped, when the other is picked up, it fails to appear.^{[verification overdue]}
