  • The residents in metal armor only appear in the Parlor Room at night.
  • After the Chosen One destroys the Enclave Oil Rig, they may comment on it.

AppearancesEdit

Vault City citizens appear only in Fallout 2.

Behind the scenesEdit

After becoming a Citizen, other citizens in Vault City will have among their flavor texts the phrase "I'm feeling double plus good. And you?" This is a direct use of Orwellian Newspeak. Use of Newspeak in modern media is a trope often employed to identify a "utopian" society which is later revealed as a dystopia, having at its core flawed, selfish, or ultimately nefarious motivations.
