Vault 53

Vault 53 is one of the Vault-Tec Vaults. As part of the Vault Experiment, most of the equipment was designed to break down every few months. While repairable, the breakdowns were intended to stress the inhabitants unduly. The location of this Vault is unknown. The fate of the Vault could have been stress induced deaths, death by disease, or radiation poisoning (from Vault Door failure or Water Chip failure)
