The Vacuum Cleaner is a miscellaneous item used for crafting weapons such as the Rock-It Launcher.

- L.O.B. Enterprises has the most vacuum cleaners of any location, numbering fourteen (spread over its three sections).
- Moira at Craterside Supply sells vacuum cleaners with irregular frequency.
- At least 5 of them are in Arlington Library.
- A vacuum cleaner may be found in one of the back rooms in the Super Duper Mart.
- A vacuum cleaner may also be found in the Mechanist's workshop.
- At least 5 can be found in Minefield. Two are in the Gillian House (one in kitchen, one in lounge), two in Benson House (1 is across from the Ham radio by the red chair in the living room and the other is in the master bedroom), and the other is in the master bedroom of the Gibson House
- At least 7 vacuum cleaners can be found in Vault 108's Entrance and Living Quarters.
- Four can be found in Vault 92.
- One can be found in the room below the roof/satellite dish access hatch of NN-03d-B (part of SatCom Array NN-03d)
- Two are on a shelf inside Fort Independence barracks area.
- One can be found in the Hubris Comics building, walking towards the Beta Testing room.
- One can be found in the mailbox outside the Northwest house in Big Town.
