Tenpenny Tower editsEdit

So, what didn't you like about my contribution to that page? Just wondering. I think it's good info, saves you having to get the key to the computer terminal side. Just run into the front entrance of the tower take the first door on the left go through the storage area and down the stairs to the room with the big locked door and throw a grenade in the corner to the right of the door. Not angry about the revert just curious why.--7h1s

There was already a note about shooting the generator, so i changed shooting to destroy when I removed your edits. If I kept your note, someone would add that you can also hit it with a power fist until it blows etc. Just doing some cleanup--Kingclyde 23:44, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
I definitely agree that such information is obvious and needing removal if that were what I was trying to explain. What I was actually trying (unsuccessfully) to explain is that a power fist doesn't punch through walls, nor does bullets. But explosions do, so you can use explosives to destroy the generator from the other side. The Tenpenny lobby side. Oh and sorry for not signing last time, that must have been confusing for a moment lol. --7h1s 22:57, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

GNR FatmanEdit

Hey.. I'm looking for the dead body that has the fatman, But i cant find it... Mind helping me?

Can I ask a stupid question? At the very beginning of the game, I found and then sold the Pip boy flashlight not knowing that I'd need it later. now I cannot find it. Anyone know where i can get a flashlight after you leave Vault 101?

I've never run into that before. I was unaware the Pip-Boy and light can be separated. Kingclyde 00:45, 29 May 2009 (UTC)kingclyde

Thanks Kingclyde. Your comment was just what I needed to figure out my stupid mistake. You were right, can't be separated. i went back to the manual and figured out my error. Was just not hitting the right key.

Vault 77Edit

Sorry I meant Vault 77 Not Vault 78.

No problem, I'm in the process of moving the info over to "The Surgeon" which is the proper page. I moved the speculation to talk because we are trying to do that with all articles. Kingclyde 07:09, 18 April 2009 (UTC)kingclyde

FO3 walkthrough Edit

I think we should rather not start listing bugs on the walkthrough page, it's the kind of detail which should rather be in the quest article in my opinion. // Porter21 U | T 07:24, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

Survival Guide Edit

No need to delete or merge. The Wasteland Survival Guide is a page for the quest, while Wasteland Survival Guide (Fallout 3) is for the guide as an in-game item. Ausir 01:03, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

Yup, like Ausir said there are two articles because they are about two different things. -- Porter21 (talk) 07:06, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

Combat jumpsuit Edit

Hello, Sektor8 here and im wondering if you can help me with something, I was playing fo3 yesterday when I checked my status in the pipboy and it says I was wearing a combat jumpsuit! I have never come across or heard of something like it, I am level 20 and I was wearing tribal power armor, sunglasses and the hat of the people, all of them from The Pitt. The jumpsuit gave me 5+ to small guns, please if you can get any info on the suit tell me, I think it might be tied with the Tribal power armor. Sektor8 22:57, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

Blocking Edit

Don't block people for more than 1 week, especially for a year, if they're first-time vandals. They might have a dynamic IP, and thus a block will potentially prevent others from editing (we had such cases in the past). Only if vandalisms are repeated from the same vandalism after the first 1-week block should an IP be blocked for longer. Ausir 22:30, 13 April 2009 (UTC)

I've only done 2 year long blocks. This last one because he repeatedly vandalised the bobblehead page and the other was an ass. I'll unban them, I'm just trying to keep this place clean Kingclyde 22:32, 13 April 2009 (UTC)kingclyde

Yeah, I know, I just think a week is enough for a one-time vandal, particularly since most of them use dynamic IPs anyway, so a 1-year ban is pointless and can hurt legitimate users later. Ausir 22:34, 13 April 2009 (UTC)

Paladin Gunny IS essential.. //--Teh Krush 23:55, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

Redirects Edit

Don't delete redirects from different capitalization, like leather armor. They are useful. Ausir 22:04, 21 April 2009 (UTC)

Ok, then should I even clean them up? I thought that is the point of cleaning and removing redirects. If someone tries to link "leather armor" instead of "Leather Armor", it would show up in the wanted pages. When it does that I can correct the link. If there is some protocol please let me know. Thanks. Kingclyde 22:08, 21 April 2009 (UTC)kingclyde

I wouldn't really bother with cleaning them up. Sometimes it makes more sense to link to a redirect than to the main article title. And even if not linked to, these redirects are definitely useful for search, which has problems with capitalization. Ausir 22:11, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
Having the capitalization redirects prevents having duplicate articles, especially since directly entering a URL or using Special:Search is case-sensitive (unlike the sidebar's search box). -- Porter21 (talk) 22:15, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
Ok I'll leave the redirect pages. When I run automated processes at work I start doing that. I'll continue to fix links to pass time. Should I leave disambiguation pages as well? Kingclyde 22:17, 21 April 2009 (UTC)kingclyde
Disambiguation pages are needed for search purposes, even if no articles link to them (and ideally, no pages should link to the disambigs). Ausir 22:26, 21 April 2009 (UTC)

Fallout 3 Followers Edit

Hey couple of things, 1) are you a moderator of this site? and 2)sorry to go against you and repost the companion exploits but they still work. I've just done them; the key is to not do them before the Pitt DLC. They can be done after though. Even if you have to do a cleanup of the page, there still needs to be a direct link to where you can get the info to do these awesome exploits. I can check in the history and bring up the page before you modified it, but for other's there needs to be an easier way. Thanks.Angelonedge 06:04, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

All of the exploit stuff is on the discussion page. In reality, that is where it belongs. Not in the article. I am reverting your edits once again. I'll put a note refering people to the discussion page for the exploits but if you want to do exploits, in reality most people go to cheat sites. Plain and simple. To keep posting it when its been moved is silly and redundant.Kingclyde 16:43, 22 April 2009 (UTC)kingclyde

Alright once again sorry about that, but it didn't make sense that a popular thing like the Companion exploit would be taken off. I see your point, however, I asked where you a moderator of the site because I wasn't sure if it was a valid reason or someone thinking that they didn't work anymore and removing them. If you feel that way about exploits etc, then there's a whole slew of articles that you need to work on. Almost every single one has a section of glitches or "Notes" refererring to things you can exploit about the subject. Also I've checked in the discusssion page about it and besides the one I started about why was it taken off (which you didn't respond to), there's no info on it. SO referring someone to a discussion would be pointless since there really isn't one. At least not on the General Fallout 3 discussion page. Thanks for letting me know why it was edited though.Angelonedge 06:02, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

Minor exploits like a small one can be left for now, but when it comes to take up most of the article it adds clutter. The companion exploit is on the fallout 3 companion page, not the general discussion page. There are other pages about quests and whatnot that ramble on forever. I need to clean those as well. At the top of each page there are two tabs. One that is article and one that is Discussion. I moved the multiple exploits to the discussion page from the article page. I know there are plenty of more pages that need work, but I have a job abd various other things going on in my life. I just got frustrated on something i moved got undone. It's like planting a garden for hours and then coming out the next morning to see a gopher pulled them all out. Sorry about the misunderstanding. Yes I am a sysop. I'm just trying to clean stuff up when I can. Thanks!Kingclyde 06:30, 23 April 2009 (UTC)kingclyde

Thanks again for the clear up, I didn't even notice the discussion tab till you pointed it out. That makes things really helpful. Sorry to frustrate you, I was frustrated that I couldn't find it, but you've been really helpful/cordial in directing me to it. Thanks again!Angelonedge 07:28, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

Charon Edit

It's... pronounced... 'Karen'

Whats the point in having a wiki if you're going to purposely put wrong information on it? You may as well merge with conservapedia.

I know how it's pronounced in real life, i.e. classical mythology and what not. But in THE GAME it is mispronounced as share-un. I honestly do not understand why you cannot get that through your head. In the trivia section is pronounced correctly but it pronounced incorrectly in the game section. I'm removing to pronunciations so you stop changing it because it doesn't fit your conservative view. Thanks.Kingclyde 20:14, 23 April 2009 (UTC)kingclyde

It's never pronounced in-game, so it could never be pronounced wrongly

That's incorrect, Ahzrukhal definitely pronounces it ingame and possibly some of the other ghouls as well. Kingclyde is right, they pronounce the name like you normally would pronounce Sharon, not Charon. -- Porter21 (talk) 16:59, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

Chinese Costume whatnotEdit

I'm not trying to harrass you but why was the sections a problem & why did it then get moved?--UltraMegaUltraMan 06:52, 25 April 2009 (UTC)

I have move it to the discussion page of the article(where you are currently). The costumes are exactly that. They are just for fun not really function. The article is for such items that are actually important to the usage of the equipment or whatnot. It's not "simple harassment" and that is the justification for the actions made on this article. This goes for all articles. Facts, bugs and notations about use, locations or general info. Glitches, cheats, and or fun stuff go here. Thanks. Kingclyde 07:00, 25 April 2009 (UTC)kingclyde

I'm sure you don't want to talk about this anymore but I feel the need to bring it up again. I get it that the section doesn't belong on the article page because it is more of a discussion in your opinion. However I don't think the average user even knows about the existence of the discussion page, I personally had no idea what it was when it was originally mentioned, because of this I left a note in the "notes" section of the article page to check the discussion page. Yes, I know that isn't exactly what the note section is for but it didn't seem to be too out of place there either. Now that blurb has also been removed. I'm involving you again because: 1) When the Costume section was on the article page it was getting visited and contributed to by users other than myself with some regularity. 2) Now that the Costume section has been moved to the discussion page I seem to be the only person contributing to it. .: Therefore there would seem to be people out there interested in contributing to the costume section that just cannot find it.

I'm not necessarily asking you to move it back to the article page, but rather to just make it easier for layperson users to find it. --UltraMegaUltraMan 18:53, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

  • We could leave a note saying to refer to the discussion page. The main reason we moved it was clutter. I still have numerous articles to go thru and cleanup. It's never ending :) We can add a toc with costume combinations and then under it add see discussion page on the top right tab of this article.Kingclyde 19:14, 29 May 2009 (UTC)kingclyde
sounds great--UltraMegaUltraMan 20:51, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

Tactics and Outfit Comonations Edit

Yeah, I agree. Ausir 00:41, 30 April 2009 (UTC)

Health, combat skill, and other gameplay edits Edit

Hi there. Thank you for your welcome. I must object to your removal of the information I added and your claim that they are "speculation". All skill and health comparisons are taken directly from the G.E.C.K. editor. I believe they are relevant from a gameplay perspective, and my primary interest in this game is in regards to the gameplay, as well as how the actors behave under various situations. Joylock 18:00, 11 May 2009 (UTC)

EDIT: Wow, are you reverting all my edits? You should have at least taken the time to discuss that with me. Joylock 18:05, 11 May 2009 (UTC)

  • Hi there. Thank you for your understanding. If you want the info to be more professional, one suggestion I'd make is to add a NPC level, health, and combat skill (i.e. Small Guns/Melee) tab to the NPC infobox and the Monster infobox, like the Oblivion wiki has. Interested editors with access to the G.E.C.K. editor could then fill out that info as they go. Joylock 18:33, 11 May 2009 (UTC)

Take a look at Charon, if you can put them in a section similar to his with the special attributes and that good stuff that would be great. Thanks! Kingclyde 18:35, 11 May 2009 (UTC)kingclyde

Rivet City Planes Edit

The planes are P-80's. Note the machine gun placement in the nose, the size of the cockpit, and general shape of the plane. The T2V looks nothing like the planes in rivet city, nor does the F9F.

Actually the P-80's do not have folding wings nor do they have the cells on the wings like the panther and Seastar do. The P-80 was replaced by the Seastar because the p-80 was not designed for carriers like the Seastar. The Panther and Seastar are more alike in appearance than the P-80. I really hope you are not going on machine gun placement along are you?Kingclyde 02:10, 15 May 2009 (UTC)kingclyde

No, not only machine gun placement. The wingtips feature pylons under the wings, the panther and sea star's wingtips meet these pylons directly along the diameter. The size of the cockpit is another red flag. It's small, designed for a single pilot, and the braces are an exact match for the P-80. The wing profile is ovoid, and enters directly into the fuselage. On the Panther the wings on the trailing edge curve back several feet when it meets the fuselage. The Rivet City aircraft's wings fold at roughly the halfway point at a 120 degree angle from the unfolded position. The Panther's wings fold about a sixth of the way from the fuselage at only about a 80 degree angle. The tail fin is also another dead give-away. On the P-80 it stars as a five degree from level straight line, then sharply turns upwards to an 80 degree angle. Both the Sea Star and Panther gently curve, and lack the sharp angles on the Rivet City aircraft, in addition the Panther's tail extends a bit past the engine, while the aircraft on Rivet City stop inches before. Again looking at the tail section of the aircraft, we see that the horizontal fins connect to the body of the plane like the P-80, the Panther and Sea Star both are set upon the tail fin itself.

We have had this discussion before. We have settled those aircraft. Understand that this is a game and they are modeled after similar planes. They are not real. Same goes for the cars etc. If you combine the traits of the two planes and maybe all three you can get an idea, but not just one plane. Sorry. And please sign your posts. Thanks. Kingclyde 03:05, 15 May 2009 (UTC)kingclyde

Fallout starts to diverge after WWII, first in small ways, then in larger. Due to the Korea being at the very start of the spit is more reasonable that the plane exists, or at least does so in a barely modified way. The P-80 is the closest if not exact match, while the T2V and F9F are nowhere near it. Just like the Assault rifle is clearly a G3, the plane is very clearly a P-80, with the only notable difference being the folding wings. To cite an example of this case: Assault Rifle could be considered a cross between an MP5 and an AK-47, the G3 alone shares nearly all traits, excluding the use of wood over synthetics. Regardless of any past discussion the facts remain overwhelmingly clear as to the identity of the plane in question, there is simply too much in common for it to be ignored. Where as the two planes you have suggested share one or two features a piece, and maybe a few more combined, the Shooting Star shares nearly all traits alone. Therefore I feel it best that page mention the P-80, rather than two separate and completely dissimilar planes. 11:17 May 14, 2009 (EST) Eis Izo

I went to the IRC channel with it, presented both sides and the P-80 was chosen with no nay-sayers. Hopefully this will put the matter at rest. I can provide a copy of the discussion if you would like. 11:54 May 14, 2009 (EST) Eis Izo

I added all 3 planes. The planes are NOT just one plane or another. Until the game developers come out and say "hey we modeled it after the P-80 only" all three planes will have to be included. There are aspects of all the planes not just the P-80. I'm sorry if this doesn't fit your view, but I have researched it and being an avid aviation buff who goes to museums and air shows, I can say with certainty that these are not just P-80's. Remember this is a game in a alternate universe which will have no real counterparts here. I.E. the weapons are similar but not exact. The cars are similar but not exact etc. Let's just leave all three in and let the reader decide.Kingclyde 17:27, 15 May 2009 (UTC)kingclyde

I've never been on a wiki that does clean up on article talk pages. I've seen stuff archived all the time, but never just deleted. Mr. Sully 02:24, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

It was tagged cleanup so I went through and got rid of duplicate items. I have seen stuff removed before. I'm not sure that duplicate info should be archived though.Kingclyde 02:26, 15 May 2009 (UTC)kingclyde

My apologies, Clyde. I wasn't trying to cause any problems, but just thought it was odd that such a large hunk of a talk page would get wiped out like that. I read through some of the material that was removed and thought it seemed somewhat releveant. If you want to go ahead and remove it again, I won't revert. Mr. Sully 03:12, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

Bug sections Edit

Sure, I agree. They require lots of cleanup. Ausir 16:37, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

A hey and a question Edit

Hey, read soon after about why the glitch was moved to discussion, makes sense. Are we moving all types of tactics and general tips about entering areas to discissions? I only ask because I haven't been here editing since probably january or so and I haven't heard if we are changing the format.

  • I talked with Ausir about it about a month ago. It mainly started with the Chinese Stealth Suit and the Chinese Assault Rifle. With the suit we there was a rather lengthy section about combinations or armor and different tactics. The assault rifle had the same thing minus the armor combinations. We agreed it would make more sense to put that info in the discussion page. Same thing with speculation. It should still be on his talk page.Kingclyde 20:11, 20 May 2009 (UTC)kingclyde
  • Cool. Need a hand with any recent projects? When I left I had just finished making notes all look the same and grouping holodisks and notes into their proper catagories, not the three or four they were muddled into.

  • Well what I have currently started doing is going through the articles and adding to the bugs (unconfirmed) or (confirmed [platform]) to them. Alot of articles are older and have lots of bugs that really are not bugs anymore due to patches or whatnotKingclyde 20:41, 20 May 2009 (UTC)kingclyde

About Deletion Edit

Thanks for making me aware of my mistake by putting the "BEst Merchants" as a wiki. However, i would have preferred if you had moved it rather than deleting it. Please, if you have a chance, move it. (You dont have to i guess)

Thanks -- 01:36, 21 May 2009 (UTC)TheFrogger

Simms Edit

The second one is said when you first enter megaton, as he approaches you. The third and forth are said when entering conversation. The fifth is when you are fighting him, and I think the first is what he says in the initial dialogue... but really sure what you have to say. Fat Man Spoon 21:58, 21 May 2009 (UTC)

Caravan Edit

Why did you remove the link to caravan from some pages? Yes, I know they were red links, but they're there because I think there should be an article about caravans, and will likely write it someday. Ausir 12:53, 25 May 2009 (UTC)

I removed them from the dialog pages, didn't think it would hurt anything. I can revert them if you wantKingclyde 20:04, 25 May 2009 (UTC)kingclyde

Permission to Edit Edit

Would it be okay if I mention on the Deathclaw gauntlet page that the Gauntlet is smaller than an actual Deathclaw hand? It's not important information, but it could help people to know weird stuff

Don't see why not. Go right ahead. Thanks!Kingclyde 04:53, 26 May 2009 (UTC)kingclyde

Fusion Cola Edit

It can be found in a Fallout Tactics special encounter. Ausir 22:30, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

Ok. Are we going to create a page for it? Or do we already have a reference to it?Kingclyde 22:31, 27 May 2009 (UTC)kingclyde

other stuff Edit

The wording on the Deathclaw Matriarch page needs some work... I’m not sure what was meant but it currently describes her as "hairly" amongst other things--UltraMegaUltraMan 18:58, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

  • I'm not sure about that. I try not to edit non FO3 article unless it's a link fix or whatnot. If you can word it better go right ahead. I don't know enough to make a legit edit or expansion of the article. We could make it a stub if it's low on infoKingclyde 19:14, 29 May 2009 (UTC)kingclyde

Rescue from Paradise Edit

I'd say thin it down. Ausir 20:40, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

character race Edit

If someone is willing to put it there, I guess there's no point in deleting it. Ausir 12:18, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

I'd say the current format ("Human, African-American") is fine. Ausir 17:22, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
Ok it was just a thought--Kingclyde 17:23, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
Me too. Seems adding another line is going too cause a lot of extra (unnecessary) edits on pages who already have this info on them, and it prevents problems with Ghoul NPCs. --Sentinel 101 17:26, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

Thanks, I'll try not to come up with lame ideas lol--Kingclyde 17:29, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

Yearning_for_Learning Bug Edit

Hi, You were the last to edit Yearning_for_Learning so I just want to confirm the bug (I don't want to edit it by my self):

"Sometimes, Scribe Yearling will ask you how your search for the books are going, and when you are given the dialogue choices with her, you will not be able to give her your pre-war books. (unconfirmed) "

Possibly it was because I went to the library before I had the quest. I takled to the Scribe and without the quest there were many dialogs missing.

After I came back with the quest, she just gave me the password and no other dialog about searching for books and selling them.

On the other hand, it might not be a BUG. If I remember correctly, in the first dialog I tryed also the sentence like "What is it to you what I'm doing here". So if the game counts that as bad behavior to her, then maybe she doesn't like me anymore :D.

Now I go to find some hack to get the quest, because I'm playing on hardest, and I don't want to miss that much money :) .

EDIT: it can be repaired in console:

Bugs on PC Edit

Good idea, although I don't think many bugs are OS-specific. Ausir 20:38, 2 June 2009 (UTC)

Comments on problem reports Edit

Best to put these on submitter's user talk page, as they're not likely to read the report talk page at all. Ausir 02:49, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

I would have but he was an anonymous user so I figured that was the best I could do.--Kingclyde 03:02, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
Anonymous users (IPs) also have talk pages. Ausir 03:04, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
Ok. I tried sending a message to one before but I didn't work so I assumed the same with the talk pages--Kingclyde 04:59, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

Hello! Edit

How's it going, asshole? You been busy blocking other people? Say, you're a man in his 30's, and you spent all your life on a wikia based on a video game? Wow, you are quite a virgin aren't you? Go ahead and block me. Just think about how pathetic you are to have never had sex and never will! Alieneater1239 22:56, 6 June 2009 (UTC)

I swear to god, Alieneater, if you don't quit acting like this I'll make the admins block you... FOREVER! FawkesGamer360 23:21, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
I find it humorous that because I enjoy order and civility, that equates to me never having sex. Some things never cease to amaze me. He has been blocked for 1 year.--Kingclyde 01:58, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
Good Kingclyde. I'm the one who fixed the vandalism to your pages. Fat Man Spoon 11:25, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
Thank you sir!--Kingclyde 02:43, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

Alieneater1239 Edit

Alieneater1239 is my neighbor, so we share the same IP adress. Blocking him means blocking me. I have to use my laptop to get online now. Is there any other way you can teach him a lesson without both of us suffering the punishment? Besides, I hear he's got a REALLY annoying brother so it might have just been him fucking up the site, forgive my language. FawkesGamer360 14:02, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

  • There really is no other way. I'm not sure how you guys are sharing an IP. If indeed it is his brother, than it was he who keeps screwing up this site from day one and not his brother. Whoever it was who actually created that account is the one who has had the attitude problem and vandalism problem. He is blocked for one year. I can reduce it but he has been banned twice and each time he returns, he screws things up. I'm very reluctant to unblock him. I'll mention this to Ausir and see what he thinks. His decision is the final on as he is the bureaucrat.--Kingclyde 14:09, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
I guess his "annoying brother" also posted this talk page entry of yours? -- Porter21 (talk) 14:11, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
It appears so. Looking at his (FawkesGamers) prior edits, he seems similar to Alienator. He stated he will do my best to have me removed. Check out the June 6 entry on User talk:Alieneater.--Kingclyde 14:13, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
That's the one I linked :) To me it looks more like the Alieneater accounts were sock puppets. -- Porter21 (talk) 14:19, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
Looks that was. Wow, and he said I had no life and spent too much time here.:)
No I mean he's my friend. We live in aparments next door to each other so we share the same IP. HE made the account (same as his YouTube and DeviantArt accound with the same name) but his BROTHER always screws up his reputation on the internet. Please, unblock him. He had nothing to do with this FawkesGamer360 18:02, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
Okay I just read the article on Sock Puppets. I am NOT a Sock Puppet. I usually try this technique on YouTube just incase, but I never do it on Wiki sites. I'm pretty offended of this, sir --FawkesGamer360 22:38, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

Snaketail Edit

I have a question. There was a glitch and I found wadsworth my servent robot fighting super mutants in D.C! i saved him before he died. How did this happen?

That's a new one. Never had that happen to me. What platform was it on?--Kingclyde 17:38, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

It was on PS3. Snaketail 12:03, 12 June (UTC)

ok, I have PC and I haven't run across it. You can put it under bugs in the wadsworth article if you want. It's kinda funny.--Kingclyde 17:07, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

Fire resistance Edit

We are thinking of removing the 'Derived statistics' category and infobox tag, but we aren't sure. Your opinion? Fat Man Spoon 23:21, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

I did it. It can be undone if necessary. On a side note, some of these things dubbed "stub" are IMO fine short and don't necessarily need the Stub designation. Is it okay to simply have a short entry? V.A.T.S. addict 23:23, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
Sounds good to me. I saw the infobox missing note and was curious as to what infobox would be needed--Kingclyde 23:24, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
problem is, now it's uncategorised, except for the stub. Fat Man Spoon 23:26, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
I mean I could put it back to derived statistics, use the derived statistics infobox and have it be a questionable member of the derived statistics group with the wikia's lamest infobox :D V.A.T.S. addict 23:29, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
A short article is fine. There really isn't much to add--Kingclyde 23:38, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
So delete stub and leave it uncategorized? V.A.T.S. addict 23:49, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
I would delete the stub but re categorize it. That way it can be found easier.--Kingclyde 23:57, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
Re categorize to Derived Statistic again? V.A.T.S. addict 00:06, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

Surgical Tubing Edit

Why were the locations deleted? The other custom weapon component pages have them. At the very least, have the Anchorage Memorial on there, it has a whopping 10 surgical tubings within it. The locations were useful to me, as I have been having a hard time finding any.--Doomination 23:58, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

Actually, they don't anymore. The locations are too numerous to keep a list on the article. They can be placed on the discussion page, but all of those components are literally everywhere--Kingclyde 00:08, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

Infobox MKII Edit

Headline text Edit

ould not be consolidated as it provides examples. If there were a large amount, then REDUCING them makes sense. Not eliminating them ==

I agree with that statement in general, but not when the examples have such a tenuous relevance (at best) to the article's subject. Light sensitive subhumans aren't exactly an uncommon storytelling motif. The etymology of the name "Trog" is fairly clear, how many similarities with other entities do you need to have pointed out? 18:58, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

One maybe two examples are good enough. Most people are too specific and if they don't see it, they will add it. The first entry you added and they way you reduced it is fine. Thanks.--Kingclyde 19:26, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

Admin Edit

What's it take to be an administrator here at the Vault? I've noticed that all you guys seem to be friends, almost like you know each other in real life. Asuir says he was the founder, but how do you guys enter in all this? Did you like help him to build the majority of this site?--FawkesGamer360 19:37, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

I just came across the site, explored it for awhile and then talked to Ausir about admining. I have wiki experience so that helps a bit. Just make edits and talk to him.--Kingclyde 20:22, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
Thanks, man! Being an Admin looks awesome!--FawkesGamer360 18:07, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

Forum Edit

I'm just wondering why you are editing so many forum posts. SuSpence95 01:14, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

Because I'm an admin. Why did you change the layout of another post on this page?--Kingclyde 01:16, 18 June 2009 (UTC)
Oh I'm sorry, I didn't mean to! My mousepad glitched for a sec and I didn't catch it. Anyway, that's not really a good explanation, maybe a reason? SuSpence95 01:33, 18 June 2009 (UTC)
Why do you want to know? I told you I was an admin. Thus if I am making alot of edits that means I'm doing something constructive yes? All you have to do is go to recent edits and very the edit notes. Maintenance.--Kingclyde 01:36, 18 June 2009 (UTC)
Ok, whatever. I don't really care THAT MUCH. SuSpence95 01:40, 18 June 2009 (UTC)
Ok, then why did you come back to say you didn't care?--Kingclyde 01:40, 18 June 2009 (UTC)
I don't know I'm bored. Why did YOU come back to say why I came back to say I didn't care when you could have left it at that? SuSpence95 01:43, 18 June 2009 (UTC)
lol--Kingclyde 01:45, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

Haha Edit

I liked the way you told Maccy Man he was banned. Classic! SuSpence95 08:19, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

Gotta love stupid people. Edit

Thought I'd go to you, seeing as Porter will be tied up with Point Lookout. Mind banning Seems dead set to create a page all about Shela's Combat Armor. Marked the first for delete, and he put up a second one, Shela's Cobat Armor. Nitpicker of the Wastes 19:25, 20 June 2009 (UTC)

Templates Edit

Do you know how to do those templates some users have like S.P.E.C.I.A.L. and Perks like on Fat Man Spoon's and Nitpicker's Pages? SuSpence95 09:14, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

No I really don't have any experience with them. Usually Porter21 deals with most of the templates--Kingclyde 09:16, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
Ok, thanks anyway. SuSpence95 09:18, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
Don't give up yet, it's not that hard. You can use mine as a model: Head to my userpage, press the edit button (but don't edit anything) and see how it is built up. Really, its just a bunch of parenthesizes and }'s. I'm Norwegian and Angry. 09:21, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

Bazaar Edit

I made Bazaar into a disambig. Ausir 00:41, 22 June 2009 (UTC)

Vids Edit

I think on some pages they're OK, but on other they just clutter the page too much. Ausir 16:47, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

Seeing as we all have opinions, I can't do much to argue with you other than saying I think you're wrong, and I'm right. However, you're the one in power, and I'd rather not get banned, so that's all I've got to say. Caio! Veckin 19:12, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

So I'm incorrect for asking you not to 1)removed unconfirmed from bugs, 2)follow format 3)use proper English and 4)not to insert nonsense into articles? Ok then. Thanks.--Kingclyde 19:14, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

Lever Rifle Edit

I don't have Point Lookout myself, but I have seen it referred to as both. But even if it's not "Lever-Action", it wasn't a valid reason to block someone. Ausir 22:25, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

Got confirmation, it's "Lever-Action". Next time think twice when you block someone. Ausir 22:30, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
I was doing what I thought was right. I got a flood of emails saying this guy was moving this and editing that. I thought I was preventing possible massive vandalism. I unblocked him--Kingclyde 22:34, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
Also, moving pages is not an admin-only function, nor shoud it be one. Ausir 22:37, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
