I know sometimes people don't put the best information on the wiki, and they certainly don't always spell things right, but leaving scathing reviews won't help them learn. Instead try to correct them and leave them a comment to use game spelling next time, or refer them to spell check. If everyone maintains a friendly and welcoming attitude then we all benefit. The more users there are posting useful and correct information the better the wiki will be. Manifold0 19:36, November 12, 2010 (UTC)

Re: Re: Edit

I did not intend it as vandalism. Although the topic, having been broached, leads me to your recent page fuckin bug which has been labeled by the community as vandalism. My intentions, however, are not to scold you, I wish only to ensure the well being of the wiki itself by maintaining a strong member base. As with any group a member that cannot make peace with the whole will undermine the effort of the entire group if not expelled. And I certainly have no wish to see anyone expelled or made to feel as though their contribution was worthless. Manifold0 20:02, November 12, 2010 (UTC)

Indeed the error is mine. "I did not intend.." I mistook your comment on your own statement as a comment on mine. I apologize for the confusion. In addition to that I mistook your name on the "bug" page as having been the name of the creator. Having found that and browsed your contributions I hastily concluded that you may be deterring people from the wiki. I am, however, happy to report that the page has been deleted:

We seem to be caught in quite the spiral of confusion. Your contributions page lists text edits that, while not offensive, are a bit off putting.
"Seriously, quit the whole first person perspective in articles. Makes it seem more like a blog than a wiki. (Also corrected spelling.)" -Although I completely agree with your point I believe that this statement comes across as hostile.
"But, you only listed five?"-Again, the sarcastic undertone here. While your point is strong the conveyance does not promote correction.Manifold0 21:09, November 12, 2010 (UTC)
Ah, I was not aware of that, you write it very well. It's an overcomplicated way of saying that being hostile doesn't help people learn lessons. I can, of course, appreciate sarcasm. I love to be sarcastic, but in first impressions it can be unhelpful.Manifold0 21:35, November 12, 2010 (UTC)
