Energy X ninjas my very 1st Wikia page ever?Edit
I found some repeatable quests from Clayton Holden for which there was no Wikia information whatsoever, so I made a new page Hypothesis. This was my first page ever. I spent an hour gathering information, formatting, etc. 3 hours later, I went back to add more information and BOOM!, someone named Energy X had deleted the hole page because I was the only contributor to it. 3 hours.
Today, I went to check the deleted page, which now had been rewritten by someone else. I can only suspect this is Energy X aka Jackoff.
Ty Jackoff for such a wonderful experience.
If I can weigh in here, deleting an entire page someone obviously put effort into because it wasn't formatted right goes against everything a wiki stands for if you ask me. If it's not written properly, fix the formatting or put up a page management notice. They're there for a reason. Deleting an entire page, including the edit history and rewriting it from scratch is just insulting IMO. Certainly not going to win you any editors as you can clearly see by this guy who is now pissed. --TigerXtrm (talk) 00:15, December 5, 2015 (UTC)
Regarding Burning Cover (and update)Edit
Hello, I recently wrote up a page for the quest Burning Cover, a Fallout 4 quest. Reason being it didn't exist yet, and no one else seemed to want to do it. Anyway, for the most part, the walkthrough and the notes is completed, but there are still some areas which I am unable to fill out for myself which I need your help for...
1. I have no idea of whether to mark it as a Railroad quest or a Minuteman quest. Reason being is because all though it starts with the Railroad, it directs you to the Minuteman questline. Regardless, it is a main quest since it marks the end of any chance for the player to complete the game with the Railroad (or more specifically The Nuclear Option (Railroad))
2. I am still unsure of how certain formatting works on this site, and would like you or someone else to clean up a few empty spaces, as I cannot.
Next, an update on Precipice of War, I was unable to obtain this Prima guide and have no choice but to sit on the sidelines. :/ Also, I just noticed that the quest is titled incorrectly Preciple of War when it should be saying Precipice of War. Though I am unable to fix it due to lack of authority. So if you could make the necessary changes, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time! http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/User_talk:TheDestroyerWi

Help on solving an FO4 Page issue Edit
(Attached is my previous discussion) I've recently been working on mass edits for the FO4 Armor and Clothing pages to try and bring them up-to-speed, and I was recommended to speak to you. One of the things I noticed was that there were lots of redundant pages regarding the dirty variants of items, such as the Dirty army fatigues and the Army fatigues, which are essentially the same item, so if the two pages could be merged, making small notes on the differences, then why not? I used the Ranger battle armor as an example, and then merged the Dirty army fatigues, Army fatigues, Dirty army helmet, and Army helmet into one page (previously linked). This method seems a lot more efficient and less wasteful to me, and I think the Army fatigues (and Postman uniform, which I also did this to) look better with the changes, but I'm unsure of what to do with pages/items like the Dirty black suit and the Clean black suit. I can leave it as two separate pages, with redundant links to each other; merge them both into either the clean page, or dirty page; or create a new page without the prefix to redirect both pages to go to. What do you think, or who should I contact if you are not someone who would make this kind of decision?
| Clean & Dirty outfits|
I noticed your changes to Clean black suit, and I was wondering if you could help me out here. I'm relatively new to this particular wikia, but I've been doing some major edits on the armor clothing sections, and I was attempting to remove redundant pages by merging dirty variants of outfits with their standard outfit (example: Dirty army fatigues & Army fatigues). I read your edit comment, and noticed how the page name stated that it was the clean variant specifically - but since there is no in game standard version, without a prefix, I'm unsure of how to proceed. I feel that having a Dirty AND Clean page for the SAME item of clothing is excessive, but I don't know if creating a page titled Black suit would solve the problem, since no such article actually exists. Suggestions? Or perhaps someone you can refer this question to, since I'm vague on how to navigate the more social aspect of wikias.
| Re: Clean & Dirty outfits|
Since that article was about is about the clean variant, i felt that info about that variant belonged. It was only after I edited the article that i found out there was not an article about the dirty variant. It may be worth it to rename those articles, or possibly create article about Black suit, Blue suit, etc that includes both variants. But I suggest that you to talk to an administrator like Energy X about how to handle those articles. The Cat Master (talk) 14:51, December 8, 2015 (UTC)
Was an error, I undo it faster if you didn't notice ;)
Hey, you might want to look into this user's edits. For example, see this addition to Piper Wright: "She will do an animation where she chews on a pen if a penis in her inventory.". — JCuber (talk) 21:44, December 8, 2015 (UTC)
I would appreciate it if you messaged me before banning me. I made the change to Andy the Ranger because of a mix up with what a few friends told me, I have no mission to ruin this site and or its information. I wish to contribute. - Evolved Gaming
Hi There Edit
- I hear you there. I was here for the first wave of edits and was keeping pace and keeping all the bug stuff in check, but for the past month or so I've been dealing with test after test, finals and grad school applications. Needless to say I got on today and took one look at the FO4 bug page and just about cried. ---bleep196- (talk) 19:44, December 9, 2015 (UTC)
HUD images Edit
Are we removing images based off of HUD now? I know Jspoel has been reverting me for removing images with HUD and other admins in chat seem to be ok with them on a temporary basis. Paladin117>>iff bored; 00:08, December 11, 2015 (UTC)

A lovely early gift for Xmas Edit
Foxy told me you may want these frames from one of the SWF files from Fallout 4, so I took the liberty of extracting them and uploading them to Imgur, which can be seen on this link.
I hope you get some juice out of them, and if you ever need extracting something from a SWF file, let me know and I'll tend to it ASAP.
Yeah I been gone for a bit but as you said " I am more or less back" I been play'n a lot of co op Saint's Row games & Fallout 4.
Not sure what you meant when asking about some "VIP comment' - please advise ?
P.S. Capturing screen shots on F4 is different, I can't clear the point pointer or map marker by pressing the ~ key as I did with 3 & NV... I'd welcome any advice.
Your long lost M8 SaintPain→ Here to help." 00:37, December 12, 2015 (UTC)
I unblocked Nahkis, he didn't do it on purpose. There's a pattern with these compressed infoboxes. People editing it (adding an image) compresses the infobox automatically, they can't help it I think. It started since the character infoboxes were converted, I'll be sending a note about it to Wikia. Jspoel 13:33, December 13, 2015 (UTC)
Mayor of Diamond City achievement Edit
Ok the award for getting 5 edits in human characters in Fo4 doesn't make any sense because the mayor of Diamond city is a synth not a human.11:03, December 14, 2015 (UTC)
Clothing image policy Edit
Hi! Should the infobox image in clothing articles be of the item itself (in inspect mode, for example), or of an entity wearing the piece of clothing? Compare Clean blue suit and Road goggles —JCuber (talk) 23:05, December 14, 2015 (UTC)
- Ah damn, I was too impatient. Jspoel just responded to me. Sorry. - JCuber (talk) 23:06, December 14, 2015 (UTC)
Thanks for the help Edit
Hi - thankyou for messaging me about how the HUD shouldn't show on images(I had no idea that's a thing). It's my first time editing here haha. I'll be more mindful of my posts from now on! Take care!--Ryvian$tyron(talk) 14:40, December 15, 2015 (UTC)
They're almost exclusively dedicated to discussions. That's why I wasn't going to add them to any wiki-specific functions.
If you'd like to nominate users to moderate the discussions app, that's cool too! They're just outgrowing staff's ability to moderate them effectively, so we need to hand that function off to someone qualified and willing to help. Ducksoup (talk) 22:58, December 18, 2015 (UTC)
Yep! I see that. This one would be engaging the official Wikia "Moderators" role, which you currently don't use because you don't have Message Wall or the Forums.
I'd rather have you rename those bad name images then delete them. The uploads are good in itself, might as well keep them. Jspoel 16:58, December 21, 2015 (UTC)
Gotcha. I was really confused by some of them. I'll start checking for that when I run across others and add a remark to the page that it's deleted content. --Xernoc (talk) 08:15, December 25, 2015 (UTC)
Interactive Map Edit
In regards to the FO4 map not working properly, I've gone through all the page revisions since it was placed and the only time it was touched after it was placed was on December 4th at 04:56 by 184.108.40.206 after that it isn't touched. I wouldn't have a clue if this affected it an ain't gonna touch it but I just thought to let an admin know. Nick3258 (talk) 10:20, December 25, 2015 (UTC)
Range of interest boxEdit
Oh right, I couldn't figure that out so soon when I created it and forgot about it. Looks better that way. Jspoel 22:15, December 25, 2015 (UTC)
Institute super mutantEdit
Im requesting that the super mutant page be kept at Institute super mutant. I provided all the evidence for this in the background section. Terminal entries aboard the Prydwen specifically state that the mutants of the commonwealth are unrelated to those in the capital wasteland. It is also stated in the loading screen that super mutants attacked Diamond city back in 2180, 100 years before Fallout 4. There are entries that the insitute started experiments back in 2178. The Institute is the only known location in the Commonwealth with FEV and the intent to create mutants.--Opifex1 (talk) 08:03, December 29, 2015 (UTC)

srry meant to put under weapons not weapon mods
xenergyx would u be able to post an image of nuke (fallout 4 weapon) on the cut content page
On behalf of the 2015 NotY board, I would like to congratulate you on being the runner-up for this year's Nukapedian of the Year. You can find the details here. --Skire (talk) 02:56, January 2, 2016 (UTC)
Currently the FO4 weapon mod navbox is inaccurate. It turned out the assault barrel and improved assault barrel have been renamed to automatic barrel and improved automatic barrel, respectively (a change that occurred between the E3 showcase and the game going gold), but it now seems there are many more inaccuracies. There is a group for blades while the enlisted mods are not in fact blades but additions to a weapon's blade; those mods should be grouped under upgrades. Some other mods do not exist either or have been renamed as well.
Can I just edit the navbox without any risk or would this cause problems somewhere on the Wikia?
- FDekker talk 12:43, January 3, 2016 (UTC)
- Some wiki's get touchy if people other than admins edit templates/navboxes/etc even if the edit was good. I take it things here aren't so uptight? Or at least if the editor has a good number of good contributions, like FDekker? I sent him your way because I wasn't sure. --Xernoc (talk) 21:24, January 3, 2016 (UTC)
Happy new year!Edit
I would like to use the Christmas/New Year-wishes-tradition, though I'm a week late, to thank those around me who kept this wiki and daily life more fun for me during the past year. Everything just seems so normal and evident that we are here almost every day, yet it's very worthwhile to consider for a moment how wonderful it is to have people like you around me, making editing and being on chat a lot more enjoyable. I would also like to use this opportunity to wish a happy and healthy new year for you and everyone around you who is dear to you. I hope you'll have a great and healthy new year in which all your wishes may come true! - Greets Peace'n Hugs (talk) (blog) 00:04, January 6, 2016 (UTC)
Hey, I just wanna say I agree with the stance on the companions page that there's no reason to cater to spoilers or any of that. On a different note, however, I would request the "Gender" and "Race" columns removed and replaced with other information on the grounds of conformity. FO4 is the only game that we have the gender and race listed on the overview page, yet lack information like SPECIAL or hiring prerequisites. I don't want to touch it myself since it's a hotbutton issue for other reasons, but I'd like to hear your thoughts from that perspective. --Xernoc (talk) 04:36, January 7, 2016 (UTC)

These link changes from misc item to junk item are ok. They link to the junk section on the overview page instead of at the top of that page. Jspoel 15:27, January 23, 2016 (UTC)
Fallout 4 resourcesEdit
No hard feelings, agusting to a new wiki from Wikipedia. Thanks for redirecting it I did not realize how much was on Fallout 4 settlements had it broken down like that. Any way thank for pointing out the mistake. Cheers Mesowhite1 (talk) 14:00, February 9, 2016 (UTC)
Why delete the page about trade caravan posts?
I meant the article about trade caravan posts. You can build them in your settlement after you finish a quest in bunker hill, like it is told on the wiki page about bunker hill. tried to figure out how they work exactly, but the article about this seems to have been deleted by you, if i read the info correctly...
This dudes an amazing admin. -BosnEnclave101
Removal of overdue bugs Edit
From Fallout Wiki:Bug policy...
- Bugs should not automatically be removed if the timer runs out, especially if they pertain to bugs involving quests or time specific events as these can be hard to reproduce in 1 try.
- Perhaps. But I cannot confirm the bug to exist. Plus, I guess, by now, someone would've confirmed the bug by now. 17:14, February 28, 2016 (UTC)
- You may be overestimating the number of people who are actively testing and confirming the unverified bugs. Of the 28 people listed on the Fallout Wiki:Bug Verification Project, only 4 have made any edits in the last 30 days. I'm not necessarily opposed to changing the bug policy, but it ought to be done on the basis of a community consensus. I've created a forum topic to see what other people think. Aya42 (talk) 18:11, February 28, 2016 (UTC)
Ok, about this missing trade caravan posts page again, i clicked on the link on the page about bunker hill and this was the information I got out of it. I took a screenshot. Sorry for the confusion about this. http://www.pic-upload.de/view-29892686/wikiapagedeleted.png.html
Well, I did not create the page, and could not see what was on it, I was just asking why it got deleted. Sorry for any inconvenience.
