Harold (Fallout Tactics)
Hello, Ausir. I've read the discussion about Harold (Fallout Tactics). You voted for not merging articles. Recently I've found this interview, where Ed Orman states: "There is the occasional cameo (hell, you just can't leave out old Harold), but we've tried to create our own continuity as much as possible." Does this statement change anything for you? Since Vault Dweller article has its non-canon FOBOS section maybe we should make the same with Harold? veryblackraven 15:14, November 3, 2011 (UTC)

Hello Ausir! I would like to have my blogs in the news. I have been doing polls, and writing short fallout-based stories but haven't been getting any feedback. I hope you'll agree with my request. The Enclave shall prevail! 20:10, November 4, 2011 (UTC)

Changes
Hi Ausir. I need to ask you not to make any changes to this wiki for the benefit of your alternative. That includes changing the logo, changing mentions of the name on any page, adding templates or other move notices, and so on. Obviously there is a conflict of interest here, and I'd like to work with you on making sure that doesn't affect this wiki as you transition to your new job. Thanks -- sannse

- This is no longer The Vault, and you have no legal right to continue using properties of The Vault without permission. Attempting to keep the old logo etc. to use The Vault's respected branding is in the best interests of Wikia's profit margins only, as the community now has the choice of where to go. Thanks. --

Just a question
Hi, can you give me the specific details as to how I could possibly become a Wiki Moderator or Admin? Thanks.

More on changes
Hi Ausir. I've just seen your message inviting another (non-Fallout) wiki to join Curse, so feel we need to be blunt about the boundaries.
It is not OK for you as a Curse employee to use Wikia to promote your alternative service.
I've already mentioned the other part to this: that you should not make any changes to this wiki for the benefit of your alternative. Please can you pass this on to other admins.
We've seen a few forks now, so have some guidelines to help in understanding what that means. This isn't an exhaustive list, but...
- Please do not link to your new wiki on the main page of the Wikia version. It's OK to link to the blog post, as you have done, but that can't be a permanent notice
- Please make sure that any messaging clearly says that people have a choice to move with you or to stay (I've noticed you have been doing this, thank you)
- Please do not post to users' talk pages with messages about the fork. We look on this just as you would have if someone came here in the past, and started leaving mass messages about their site on talk pages.
- Please do not try to delete pages, change fundamental elements of the site or otherwise damage the content. The wiki should be left intact and available for any future editors to use.
- Please do not use the wiki to promote your new fork. This includes templates, notices or URLs on pages other than the announcement.
I realize this may sound overly blunt, but I would rather that than have misunderstandings and have this escalate further. -- sannse
