Hi there![]

FO1 intro Vault Boy

Welcome to the Vault!

Welcome to our Fallout wiki, and thank you for your contributions! There's a lot to do around here, so I hope you'll stay with us and make many more improvements.

Recent changes is a great first stop, because you can see what other people are editing right this minute, and where you can help.
If you haven't already, create a user page about yourself! If you do, we'll be able to know you better as a member of our community.
Questions? You can ask in the Forum or on the "discussion" page associated with each article, or post a message on my talk page!
Need help? The Help page has an outline of the site, and pages to help you learn how to edit. See the Vault's Policy page for general guidelines and code of conduct.
I'm really happy to have you here, and look forward to working with you!

Re: Template for Perks and Traits[]

Of course I don't mind, it's one of those things I never seem to get around to. Feel free to :-) // Porter21 U | T 00:30, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

How about dividing the perks by level? Ausir 16:03, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
Sure, see e.g.: Template:Navbox traits. Ausir 17:40, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
Hope you don't mind me editing the page. I don't think the blocks are needed :-) Also, not sure whether you need to include the traits in the FO1 and FO2 boxes - there's a seperate navbox for traits after all (the one Ausir linked above). // Porter21 U | T 19:55, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
I guess it's less an issue of wiki syntax, more one of having to cope with the navbox syntax (which is my "fault" :-P). Just to explain, a block turns all groups with the same letter into subgroups (groups within the block). If that's not needed, you can simply use groups - the blocks are optional (same as headers are). 20:06, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

I've moved the navboxes to Template:Navbox perks FO1, Template:Navbox perks FO2 and Template:Navbox perks FO3. They look pretty much finished to me :-) I'll have a bot include them on the respective pages. -- Porter21 (talk) 14:13, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

User-made Character Builds[]

Agreed, go ahead and move them. Ausir 14:54, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

BTW, we already have Fallout 3 character builds. Ausir 15:01, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

I finished the article, and notified the two people who left their own commentaries in there that they were welcome to add their own character to the Character Build article. Dcruze 15:44, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

Map PSD[]

By the way, since you're working on a new version of our Fallout 3 map, don't know if you've noticed on its talk page that Novemberparodius has uploaded a PSD of the map. Ausir 14:59, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

Re: Sidebar Template[]

The template is MediaWiki:Monaco-sidebar. Might want to check with Ausir first before changing it though :-) // Porter21 U | T 19:27, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

Edit: Actually I'm not sure whether you can even edit it. Stuff in the MediaWiki namespace can only be edited by sys-ops if I'm not mistaken. // Porter21 U | T 19:29, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
Yup, it's editable only by admins. Ausir 19:29, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
