The Berserkers are a faction of well organized mercenaries who have been known to do some raiding when it suits them. They are not openly hostile to the player character unless said player harms one of them or unless the player has a price put on their head. If the player is so inclined, he/she can even join the faction, provided certain criteria is met. The Berserkers are one of the factions that can be lead to victory in the end game by the player.
The Berserkers are led by a man known only as Hammer, who is highly skilled in combat and strategy, and under his control the Berserkers have become a major force in the (insert location here) Wasteland. Hammer uses an intense training regimen that has been proven to turn any wastelander into a…Read more >
Allow me to preface this by saying that the very low number of readers of these perfect world blogs have caused me to think seriously about not doing another one after this. It is likely that this will be my last blog on the subject. So, to you faithful readers out there, no matter how few of you there are, I ask for a sign of life. If you are just passing through, however, a sign of life would also be good. I just want to get a good estimate of how many people are actually reading this. Anyway, moving on.
Anchorage. We've all seen it before, but what about after the war? Chinese remnents may still remain in large numbers and could still think the two nations are at war. What about the city itself? We never saw it. This could be a very inte…Read more >
I know this is kinda off the wall, because it is well known that there is little chance a Fallout game will take place outside the United States for a while, but if they were going to step outside then where would they go? Toronto (or Ronto) seems like the perfect place to start looking. It is a brisk swim away from America and is an extremely large city, not to mention the fact that it was mentioned as a military power by Ashur in The Pitt addon (even though it is unconfirmed whether he was talking about this Toronto, or Toronto, Ohio).
Geography: This is tricky because Lake Ontario makes a square impossible. But Toronto itself would be in the extreme southeast corner with the lake forming the southern boarder. The eastern boarder would be…Read more >
In case you missed my first ever blog last week, which most of you probably did, I announced that I would write a weekly blog about possible cool locations for future Fallout games. Note that this will not be about likely locations, but more geared towards the things that might be less thought about but still just as cool. In these blogs I will try to stray away from places such as New York, Chicago, or the Commonwealth, mainly because they are getting enough air-time as it is, and I will focus more on the areas that might get some people thinking.
This week I will be talking about Florida; mainly Miami. Miami has all that could intrigue and amaze some audiences about the wasteland, from swamps to cities to beaches. Now I know Point Lookout…Read more >
As we all know, the location for Fallout 4 has not been released yet but that hasn't stopped me from speculating. Well not so much speculating as guessing. Anyway, tthe biggest hint we have is from Jason Bergman who said said, "You'll get no tips from me. But the Mojave Wasteland was a fun place to explore, wasn't it?." This essentially means that it is very likely that it will take place somewhere in the Mojave Desert. I would venture to say that the best option is Area 51 or some other secretive military base in the area. I know the Boomers said that they got their equipment from a military base in the desert but there are a lot of them dotting the landscape of the Mojave.
Area 51 wouldn't be a terrible idea. There are several towns near …Read more >
