Hola amigos, it's time for the Weekly Saturday Polls! Arriba Arriba!
Clearly I learn all my Spanish from Speedy Gonzales cartoons. Anyways, I'm an awesome person and this is an awesome blog, so let's get on to hearing my story this week. Some of you might have noticed that commenting for last week's poll was closed early. I apologise for this inconvenience, but it was in response to a rather hostile vandalism attack in which an unfriendly fellow constantly spammed pornographic and otherwise insulting links and comments on my blog. I was rather unhappy, and when I noticed he wasn't going to stop after at least ten minutes, I locked commenting for the remainder of the day. Luckily our heroic and brave administrator, TwoBears, came to the rescue and banned the troll, deleting the offensive comments. We all owe this Weekly Poll to him. Three cheers, everyone!
Last Week's Results[]
Moving on from that travesty, let's hear the good news from last week's poll. Well, actually, there's still more bad news to come regarding the results, but we'll get to that. We were asked two questions, the first being Who is your favourite New Vegas faction leader?
The results are as follows:
- In
firstthird place, with a rather disappointing twenty four votes, is none other than the smart, the handsome and the amazing Yes Man! Frankly, he deserved to win, and was winning early on in the competition. But I suspect the votes were rigged against him, so let's just consider Yes Man the true winner, okay? - In second place, stealing the glory away from the real champion Yes Man, is Mister House with 31 votes. He might talk the talk, but he can't walk the walk, considering he's too decrepit to stand up.
- And in first place, winning by a mere one vote, is The King with 32 votes! Viva Las Vegas, baby.
And just remember, when you tell your grandkids the story of the Weekly Saturday Polls, remind them that Yes Man was the true victor due to dodgy voting. The second poll was for the Fallout Tactics fans - it was something along the lines of What is your favourite Fallout Tactics vehicle? The results are as follows...
- In third place is the Nuke Carrier with 26 votes. You wouldn't want to hit a pothole in that thing or the whole neighbourhood would be wiped out.
- In second place was the Armoured Personnel Carrier with 43 votes. Now, is that the vehicle that's armoured, or the personnel? Or both...?
- And blowing the competition out of the water with 106 votes was the mighty Tank. I don't have anything witty to say here, so let's move on.
Whew, listen up folks. This is one important week for the Weekly Polls. I know all of you are eager to hear news about Fallout 4, so in order to let your imagination run wild, our Number One suggestionairre (is that a word?) MJ567 has devised this ingenious poll. It's a big one, and it spans three different questions; what we want you to do is devise your own setting for Fallout 4, from continent to country to city. So without further ado, let's get this show on the road. Drumroll please...
So there you have it. Just choose whatever it is you'd think would make a fun Fallout 4 setting. Remember, if you chose North America as your continent, don't choose Beijing as your city - it wouldn't make much sense, now would it? I apologise if you didn't see the city/country of your choice on the list, I was trying to add the most famous while still not going overboard and making the polls too big. Just select the other option and leave me your choice in the comments If you were feeling extra creative, feel free to include a small write up or description of your ideas for Fallout 4 in the comments - so long as you remain civil.

If you have better things to do with your day, I won't mind if you stop reading now. Let's see... well, I picked up the book Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell recently. Haven't got a chance to read it yet; anyone know if it's any good? Supposed to be a classic or something.
Meanwhile, my Batman avatar was met with mostly displeasure. Personally, I loved Pink Batman, but the public didn't agree. Except for one user, BrandonFox, who told me that he likes the crime fighter in touch with his feminine side. Thank you, Brandon.
Wiki-wise, I hear today is Leon's birthday! Happy birthday, amigo. You know folks, Leon is going to join the Navy. No, not the Village People Navy, the real Navy. He might be absent for some time while he sails the world doing... well, doing whatever it is the Navy does. I don't even know to be honest.
