Life Update, and VEGAS
Hey folks, it's been a minute. As you've noticed I've been absent for the past month or so. Some of you know, I've been preparing for my non-profit foundation's trip to Guatemala August the 1st. Our foundation, founded by my Uncle, focuses on connecting the world through art. We are going with an aid group and some doctors and teachers. It's looking to be a rewarding experience. There's still tons to do though.
I just realized that last week it's been 3 years since I've joined this site. So many ups and downs but it was a lot of fun. I am going to be back in full swing around the 20th of August. After I return from Guatemala I'm going to Las Vegas for a couple of days! I haven't been in about 13 years, but I thought I'd take this opportunitā¦
Recipes needed for delicious post-apocalyptic dishes
As you may have heard, SaintPain, GarouxBloodline and I will be heading up a regular cooking blog here on Nukapedia. They'll feature the best of wasteland delicacies that you can really make!
We decided it would be best if it was a community effort, and that you guys submitted some recipes! We're looking for all sorts of dishes, appetizers, entrees, desserts, drinks, and more. If you have a great recipe that can be modified for even the most harsh environment, we want to see it. If it's great, you just might see it appear (to your credit) in one of the blogs. You can leave the title of the dish and the recipe below, or if you're worried about the secret family recipe, you can always PM when I'm in chat. So dig out those old cookbooks (Or tuā¦
Burrs 2 year and 5 day Anniversary extravaganza
The year was 2009, I was 14 years old. I was running through Fallout 3 like it was my damn birthright, I wanted to scour every corner of the Wasteland, earn every achievement. Point Lookout came out and I was in love. I wanted all it had to offer. So, I google "Point Lookout Fallout 3 help." And here I am. For about 2 years, I lurked, edited, commented on blog articles here and there. The Vault was always a tab I had opened. I loved reading it. I wanted to make an account, but it seemed quite intimidating.
Finally, on July 13, 2011, I decided it was time. What to name my character though? Honest Hearts was fresh in my mind, and I went in with TwoBearsHigh-Fiving. I started looking for things to edit. I'm quite certain my first edit was reveā¦
Nukapedia Joining in on Independence Day NSA Protesting
Hello Nukapedia, TwoBearsHigh-Fiving here. Several large websites, such as Reddit, Mozilla, and others, are planning to protest on their sites July 4th against the NSA surveillance that has come to light. Examples of their protest are adding the 4th amendment to their homepages, as well as other acts of disdain shown towards the metadata being gathered by the U.S. government. Now, I'm not condoning anything one way or the other, but I want to see if Nukapedia was interested in joining these websites. If so, what do you think we should do? Even subtle things to show our support for the protest. Talk it up on here. --TwoBearsHigh-Fiving 04:43, July 3, 2013 (UTC)
