Two Elders of a Brotherhood of Steel faction who wish nothing more but to save the world in a manner of speaking, one man turned his back on the West Coast BoS's traditions while the other man did unspeakable crimes to try and save the BoS, but which one of these so called "renegade Elders" can survive The Hole!. 2. The lone wanderer's bad-ass grandma
  3. THIJAKA Elijah probably would beat Lyons, but he lacked votes and I prefer him overall.

  5. ZappaBusinessMonkey Lyons is the noble one and might not seem so tough, but he managed to lead his chapter through the whole goddamn wasteland continent!
  6. Hanchogrande Now Elijah clearly is more powerful, but Lyons has a cool background (See Smuggler's End) and comes with a 100ft robot and a Sentinel.
  7. Krypciak970 Well, they both wanted something good for broterhood, but only Lyons made something really good. Besides, he was also a paladin, not a scribe and there's a difference between those two.
  8. Elijah = Backstabbing ass of a Brotherhood elder. Lyons = Friend till the end. --FNV DeathclawAlpha DeathclawAlpha 01:01, February 3, 2012 (UTC)

  5. Elijah and his role in NV was much better and far more interesting that Lyons.AaaaaTheNemesisx 05:11, February 1, 2012 (UTC)

User:Shadows of the Old World Even with old age, arthritis, Mentats induced migraines, and a speculated addiction to scotch he still wouldn't die no matter how many times I shot him with the Holorifle. Not to mention the hundereds of miles he has wandered looking for techology to destroy the NCR. He's lived with the ciffers, seen the Divide, the Big Empty, and the Sierra Madre, and can still fight.
  11. One of the best written character. --Languorous_Maiar 14:20, February 1, 2012 (UTC)

  15. Xxfallout turkeyxx 19:46, February 1, 2012 (UTC) More interesting, willing to do what it takes, carries a guass rifle, better at combat, better than lyons in everyway except kindness, which just makes him cooler
  16. -ΣΔLet's talk! 19:49, February 1, 2012 (UTC) This guy was actually somewhat of a challenge to defeat.
  17. Charcoal121 Elijah has better lines of dialogue.
  18. Lyons ain't got enough balls to take on the insane Elijah --HaroldWannabe360 02:01, February 2, 2012 (UTC)
  19. --Zachattak471 04:07, February 2, 2012 (UTC) Im sorry Lyons, but I think Elijah could kick your ass either diplomaticly or physically in a fight.
  20. --m.haines 11:09, February 2, 2012 (UTC) much more excited to meet him as far as im concerned every character in nv is better then its fo3 counterpart
  21. Adam1224 Elijah is much more intresting person. A man who comitted serious crimes in the name of survival of BoS and in the name of science, and he needed to survive alone. I also like the mysterious style around his labour. I was thrilled when I read about him and his doings in Dead Money, after he was referred a lot, but we knew so little about him.

  25. --The Ever Ruler 22:09, February 2, 2012 (UTC) I like Lyons more as a person, but as a realist, Elijah is going to sweep Lyons' ashes into a dustpan, pour him into a ferromagnetic capsule and fire it out of his Gauss Rifle AT Elder Lyons, killing him in the process.
  26. --Gaarkukan 22:52, February 3, 2012 (UTC) his ability to jury rig is incredible

Elijah - Lyons has gone soft, he's more likely to try and hug Elijah before getting his head blown off/vapourised. On a philosophical level, I'd have to say that Elijah also has the edge. Lyons only has plans to stop some civilians dying which, while noble (kinda), doesn't go very far to actually rebuilding civilisation. Elijah, messed up as he is, still has plans to both eradicate hostiles and resurrect humanity from the ashes. Even if he is "evil", it's an understandable evil, and that makes Elijah far more interesting from a character standpoint.

This one is a real hard one for me to vote so i wont be voteing till later on this week, at the moment im leaning towards Elijah.AaaaaTheNemesisx 05:02, February 1, 2012 (UTC)

Don't get me wrong i like Lyons and his ideas and so on but i felt that Elijah was more interesting with his wrong methods and insannity but all the while trying to save the Brotherhood of Steel which is quite sad when you think about it.AaaaaTheNemesisx 05:12, February 1, 2012 (UTC)
I agree, plus got to give him points for living in the Sierra Madre for who knows how long. Paladin117 05:46, February 1, 2012 (UTC)

I have a feeling Elijah would win. Plus he stayed more true to the Brotherhood's goals. Bldudas 12:35, February 1, 2012 (UTC)

I am towards Elder Lyons, for his ideals are greater towards all humanity, not just his factions. His hopes for the Capital Wasteland are true and a hope for humanity. Not Elijah. He's straight up looney. Bobblehead Charisma "All men were created equal, not all men remain so."

I do think that Elijah was a better character, but Lyons has the advantage here. Lyons had an established base of operations, and after the activation of Project Purity, there was a connection to the local population. Elijah had very intersting plans, but they were sprinkled with little bits of crazy. Even in a knock down drag out fight I think Lyons would win; Elijah had been exposed to the cloud for God knows how long, and I think that would have lead to health problems both physically and mentally. XxSick DemonxX

Man to Man: Elijah, because he has better weapons. Mojave chapter vs. Capitol chapter: Capitol wasteland chapter hands down, unless Elijah has one hologram, than its all over

It's difficult to choose, because I like Elijah. I have most of the feelings about BOS the same as he so I would choose him. But he would also sacrafice anyone to have a technology. Just listen to Veronica. And Lyons - we don't know so much about him. He was a paladin and that definitely made him stronger. Also, he was a good commander and did not escape from his chapter. Last week, thanks to some strange and bizzare traps, Nemesisx was able to capture two of the most high profile presidents in the post apocalyptic world of America, President Richardson and President Kimball, how he was able to go back in time to capture Richardson is beyond belief but it has happened, the two presidents battled it out until Kimball was proven the victor, now the raiders of the pitt demand a more needed battle....
