PlayStation 3 patch 1.61 released
1.6.1 patch for the PlayStation 3 version of Fallout 3 has just been released, which probably means that Broken Steel will be released on the Sony platform soon. Stay tuned for more information.
Upon loading up the game, you are prompted to update the game and the download will begin. It is roughly 21MB.
Features:
- Adds the trophies to the actual trophy menu so you no longer need to compare trophies to see them.
- Another feature is the addition of the Downloads section under the main menu.

anyone knows if the goty has all the dlc on the disk or do i need to install them? i mean if all the dlc add up to 5gb[guessing] i mean will goty be only 2gb-4gb? just trying to save space on my hardrive and seeing if its worth to buy the dlc or wait for dlc.

i cant patch mine...i sign in put the game in and it just starts...doesnt ask me to patch...trophys dont show up either.

i gotten to a point where its pointless to bitch about whether the new DLC is out or not. i'm just happy tro be getting it. im sick of having the fact that the 360 has had it for ages thrown in my face like its a way of proving that the 360 is better.
360 users, your never going to get metal gear solid, your never going to get MAG or heavy rain, stop using the fact that microsoft paid millions to let you have add ons being the big thing that sells your console
i dont have a problem with the 360, in fact i like it, its a great console with great connectivity, good gaes and an ok gaming managment system, its when people like to rub it in my face and think that cus i have a ps3 that im some third rate gamer.
gald to finally have the dlc though, should be out this thursday comming

You can still get the platinum trophy, but it'll be impossible to get 100% in the trophy list. You just need to collect all the original trophies to receive the platinum.

I have the CoD WaW Plat Trophy, and I have all the Map Packs. I have the trophy, and I'm art 88%. I only have the primary game ones in all, so it shouldn't matter.

I've been working on getting a platinum trophy for ps3 because it doesn't seem as tedious or impossible as it does with most games, but I wasn't planning to get DLC other than Broken Steel. If I download this patch but not the other 4 DLCs, will it be impossible to get the platinum trophy?

Thanks for the confirmiration that its not coming this week. That sucks but atleast they confirmed that it will come during the last week of September. I wish though that Point Lookout would've come out the week after Broken Steel but I am happy they finally said something.
