Not sure if it was mentioned here (I'm sure Agent C mentioned it in a news post) but in late April Geek & Sundry announced Fallout: Wasteland Warfare, “the first tabletop miniatures game based on the Fallout universe”.

For those just hearing about this here is the official description:

"In Fallout: Wasteland Warfare, players build their own crew from a wide range of factions, allies, and iconic characters from the Fallout series, then play in apocalyptic games of 3-30 high-quality 32mm scale resin miniatures through a huge variety of iconic scenery and settlement buildings, from the Red Rocket to Sanctuary Hills, Nuka-Cola vending machines and wrecked vehicles. Settlements include buildings, defenses, and resources that impact the crew's army list and abilities in the wasteland. Fallout: Wasteland Warfare includes an entire narrative campaign arc as well as unique random missions with narrative-style objectives, and crew caps recovered in missions can be used to improve the crew's perks, weapons, gear, and upgrades for the next encounter. In either player vs. player or tournament mode, players try to survive the tabletop wasteland.

The game also comes with a customizable solo-play AI deck to control enemies that play to their strengths and replicate a faction's tactics while attempting a narrative mission or perfecting settlement-building strategy. Players can also team up with a friend to defend a larger settlement or explore narrative missions in cooperative games against AI forces or the post-apocalyptic dangers of the wasteland.

The Fallout: Wasteland Warfare two player starter set contains 32mm scale high-quality hardened PVC miniatures with scenic bases. Miniatures are fully assembled. You can upgrade this with the resin miniatures upgrade kit to get all the miniatures in multi-part high-quality resin.

For those in the know that's old news however DuelShocker's Jordan Loeffler is now reporting that Pre-Orders are now open.

"Modiphus Entertainment has announced that it has made pre-orders available for its upcoming tabletop game based on the popular Fallout franchise.

Fallout: Wasteland Warfare will allow players to experience Fallout in a multitude of ways including through narrative, cooperative, and solo missions. You and your friends will find yourselves in the familiar nuclear Wasteland, with a variety of familiar faces and places, just in 32mm miniature form.

Much like the video game experience, players will complete quests to earn caps and to further develop factions, leaders, and settlements across the Wasteland. The further you get, the more gear you’ll collect, and you’ll eventually find yourself equipped with new perks, weapons, and further upgrades for the next task.

Modiphus explains that Fallout: Wasteland Warfare will begin shipping to those lucky enough to snag a pre-order beginning in March 2018, but even more content is planned to come to the game. Faction expansions, character expansions, and unit expansions will make your tabletop experience see battles with figures ranging from three to thirty figures at once.

The Fallout: Wasteland Warfare – Two Player Starter Set is now available for pre-order through the Modiphus Entertainment store for $79.99. However, if you spend $160 on Fallout: Wasteland Warfare pre-orders through the various bundles offered, you’ll also receive the Nuka Cola Girl Special Event Miniature, which comes with additional cards themed to her."

Gotta say this sounds like a lot of fun. Who here plans to pick this up?
