One of the biggest discrepencies introduced with Fallout 4 is the whole "fusion cores power power armor and they run out" thing... In previous fallout games T-51 power armor had a practically unlimited power source as did later armors.

The only power armor described as functioning this way was the T-45...

Well... I have no definitive answers... all I can tell you is my head canon for why this is. It seems too me that in the game there technically is no T-51, or T-60, or X-1 power armor actually in the game, at least not a full set of any of these armors.

The Endoskeleton, the Frame, that is used to house all power armor plating is in actuality the frame for a T-45 power armor suit. These suits were probably infinitely more common as they were…

Okay folks... calling it now... the Sole Survivor, is an android (or gynoid where applicable).

possibility 1 - Vault 111 is not a real vault destined to save people, but a facility for testing humanoid robots by periodically releasing them into the world. Complete with built-in memories.

Possibility 2 - escaped Institute android gave himself a new mind and face based on a long-dead vault dweller from before the war.

Because cryogenics would just be too obvious.

The Super Mutant reproduction problem needs to be solved... they cant keep putting it off forever, with new sources of FEV and stretching the Mariposa and 87 clans to the breaking point...If Super Mutants (and ghouls for that matter) are to be a continued part of the Fallout universe they need to solve this problem once and for all.

    Let us examine possible solutions?

To me this is the easiest and most practical way to solve the problem, a Super Mutant group takes over a human population. They create a religion and ideal around becoming like super mutants and they convert humans that have already had children into Super Mutants.

As well these mutant cultists could make up part of the Super Mutant forces, making them more interesting enemies to…

    Interplay, rebirthing wasteland

    February 27, 2012 by Ralok

I dont know who currently has the rights to wasteland.

but I had the idea, that interplay could salvage what they have created for V13 and repurpose it to bring back wasteland. Re-using the assets and re-writing the lore to create a new wasteland game.

let them create a competitor for fallout, based on something already beloved. I would love to see how it would turn out!

and the idea of re-using assets from a part finished project . . . isnt that how fallout got its start!

I found myself wondering about the spinoff games FOBOS and TACTICS and their place in the general canon of fallout . . . .

    FIRST TACTICS

I find that tactics was far more of a departure in theme, story, visuals, and tone . . . . the game didnt sit too well with me! But I felt it was canon, that the world was so fast paced that you wouldnt be able to see the retro style, because that isnt important for the story . . . what was important was the focus on the goals. The hard attitudes of the brotherhood of steel and their absolute focus!

The robots are a bit of a visual departure, but I feel that we cannot account for every model designed in every game! There was also the tab pulls as currency . . . . that was awesome it was a nice break from the…
