New Vegas might not yet be available for release for a few more months, but like any good company working on schedules and maintaining revenue throughout the lifecycle of a game release, we come to the topic of DLC's.

With the release of Fallout 4 being circa 2 years distant it should be expected that New Vegas, like Fallout 3 previously, will have a much vaunted release followed by a "honeymoon period" of high value sales at volume, assuming the game is critically well received, or manages to exist for a time on a hype bubble.

Beyond this, DLC releases can stimulate in two ways; providing and prolonging additional revenue during the period until the next major release, maintaining exposure for the brand, and stimulating additional base game sales at a mid value/mid volume level, until the next phase of the lifecycle is reached: GOTY or equivalent.

So taking such a model into account, how many DLC packs do you think are in the works for New Vegas, are there any areas where you think DLC content could be improved or better integrated, and what would you like to see added in a DLC package?

How many DLC packs will New Vegas have?
