Welcome!

Welcome again on the new edition of Hide and Seek with Helena! The rules have stayed the same as last week. There will be posted a new picture on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and I'll try to post them in the evening of the European timezone, so Americans can also participate. This week is again a 4 picture version, but in the future it may be turned in a 3 picture version.

This Saturday, it has been 72 years since the events that pulled the USA into the Second World War. After the USA decided to boycot Japan, tensions were rising and Japan decided to take revenge on the USA. On December 7th 1941, the Japanese started an offensive against the USA. Hawaii, Malaya, Wake, Midway, Hong Kong, Guam and the Philippines were attacked on the first day. The next day, Franklin Delano Roosevelt would declare war on Japan in the Congres.
