Savannah is the tribal leader of the settlers that live in the ruins of Searchlight Airport in 2281.

Background

The leader of the Searchlight tribals in 2281, he is the tribes current appointed Shaman, and is staunch in his belief of the Green Man, and that he or it is nothing but a "demon". Despite his tribal beliefs, he is knowledgeable in the ways of the Wasteland, but leaves trading and economic matters to Nix, the towns local merchant.

He was born in the airport sometime around 2265, and has only left it's boundaries a few times, Growing up solely based on stories, and during the settlements descent into more tribal tendencies, he grew to be deeply superstitious of the world around him, believing most of the stories he was told, including the legend of the Green Man and the "sentinel" overlooking his lair.

Ever fearful of the Legion, he tries to keep his settlers from straying beyond the borders of Searchlight airport and as such, keeps the tunnel protected and barricaded.

Quests

The Devil with Green Eyes: He can be talked to for information about the "Green Man" figure, he will divulge where the entrance is to the lair. Upon realising what he has said, he will attempt to order the Courier to not go down there, no matter what. The player will acknowledge this, but they may still go down.

If the player releases the Green Man, he will be present at the basement exit, asking for the Courier to reconsider and kill the beast. It is revealed that Savannah has found a way to talk with Torsk, and has been communing with him, using the tribes resources to keep him alive, and to stop him from trying to break out. Not passing the speech/barter checks will result in his and 3 settler's with him (all armed with low end equipment) to turn hostile and attack the player.

Notes

If the player puts on a Legion disguise in his presence, he and the rest of the settlers will all be rendered hostile, leaving the quest unable to be finished.

Savannah's shotgun is the unique caravan shotgun that is wielding by Savannah, the leader of the Searchlight Tribals that reside in Searchlight Airport.

Characteristics

Savannah's shotgun is visually similar to the sturdy caravan shotgun, having a polished tube, but it's wooden frame is scarred. The firing tube is comprised of two iron barrels, this is also known as a "over/under" shotgun. At the back of the weapon is the Searchlight Tribals mark for a shaman, and is only brandished by the leaders of the group.

Durability

It's durability is the same as the regular variant. It can fire a total of about 695 standard shells, the equivalent of 348 reloads, from full condition before breaking.

Location

It can be looted off of the corpse of Savannah, if he is killed during The Devil with Green Eyes, if he is not killed, and you choose to kill Torsk instead, he will gift his weapon to you.
