I remember reading somewhere that Tim Cain was the one who came up with the Enclave, but I’m having a hell of a time attempting to source that. He could have said it anywhere, from NMA to RPG Codex to a game mag or even in a video interview. I can find some post‐’50s terms included in Fallout 1. If we accept the rule that the game must be written from a 1950s perspective, then this is clearly problematic. Some examples include:

    3. gigabyte
    4. scam
    5. sicko
    6. scumbag (pejorative sense)
    7. shithead
    8. suck (slang sense)
    9. wuss
    10. yucky

And this is by no means exhaustive.
