Commander Jarreth is one of the leaders of the Talon Company mercenary organization in 2277.

Living most of his life as a slaver out of Paradise Falls, Jarreth was eventually forced to flee for his life after crossing Harmon Jurley. Jarreth eventually found himself in Rivet City, where he quickly took advantage of his skills to work himself up through the security force. It didn't take long for his corruption to take root, and while Harkness nor Commander Danvers could ever find solid evidence over his actions, it was widely known that Jarreth was responsible for the drug and prostitution rings led by Rivet City's underworld.

When the Maledictum set its sights on Rivet City for its newest base of operations, Ba'al quickly recognized the talent found within Jarreth, and with the help of one of Jarreth's old slaver affiliates, founded the Talon Company. With a small army behind him, Jarreth's true personality manifested and he has now begun slowly taking over the Capital Wasteland as his own personal playground of destruction.

Other interactions

Interacting with the locked hatch found within the Rivet City marketplace will result in Commander Jarreth and his Talon Company to confront the Lone Wanderer.

  • After the first confrontation, Jarreth's role becomes fairly minor, and just patrols the Maledictum until the final conflict.
  • Killing Commander Jarreth at any point will render the Maledictum permanently hostile towards the Lone Wanderer.
    • Killing him will also result in Talon Company hit-squads and Mar'Jhan assassins tracking the Lone Wanderer, no matter their Karma level.

Commander Jarrenth appears only in Fallout 3.
