Badges
I think the addition of badges is going to be hit-and-miss; you are certainly going to find more people joining up and making edits, contributing to the wiki, but at the same time I think you are going to find a lot of people making unnecessary edits just to rack up their edit tally and earn more achievements...
At any rate, it seems to be working well so far.
