Fallout 4 vs. Fallout 3

Fallout 4 vs. Fallout 3

Fallout 4 vs. Fallout 3

I only played a small amount of Fallout 4, but does it add up to Fallout 3? I'm slightly bias to Fallout 3, since it's my favorite game ever. Fallout 4 comes closely behind it.

PRESENTATION: Let's start with the presentation. Fallout 4 (spoiler alert) starts with you in the pre-war era. Codsworth is shiny, wife/husband lively, and baby crying. It gives the game some prefix and meaning to the character, making you care for them. Fallout 3 starts with your birth and most of your life. The beginnings of the games are similar with the "Every thing is fine!" theme. Now that I'm not saying the Fallout 4 story is good, but the beginning starts off stronger. It gives you an motive to find your son. Fallout 3 has a similiar theme, but why find your dad? Your're only 18, and you never been outside the vault (besides when you got in the vault). The wasteland seems a little more empty in Fallout 3, which I like. A can go into more detail when I complete the game.

STORY: They both are weak :(. The same "taken" plot. But, Fallout 3 has a slightly more interesting storyline. BESIDES ALL THE FETCH QUESTS!!! I don't want to spoil to much.

GAMEPLAY: Fallout 3 reinvented Fallout gameplay. Putting it in a first/third person POV. Fallout 4 took all the glory in Fallout 3, and improved on it. More explosions, blood, guns, chems, and crafting ability. Fallout 4 also added the crafting/building system, which I always wanted in Fallout 3. I won't go into detail but it's standard, not plain, not detailed. A HATE how the power armor is in Fallout 4. Fallout 3 had it down. I want power armor, not a power up.

FINAL THOUGHTS: Whatever is your cup of tea. I prefer Fallout 3, but their around a tie. What do you think? Fallout 4 or Fallout 3? I know I left out a lot and I will add on when I 100% Fallout 4. Anything I left out? Be sure to tell me!
