At the start of each event (the scenario of the roleplay for that blog) every player may choose two major actions and as many minor actions as they like to do during that event, these will be played out in the order in which they are entered.
A player may use two major actions per event, these can be any from: Abstain:You remain with the group for this entire event, not completing any actions. This cannot be done multiple times in a row. Attack:You attack a specified enemy in view using your currently equipped weapon, you may use tactics depending on your Intelligence SPECIAL. For every 2 points in INT you may use one tactic (for example, an INT of 6 would allow the use of 3 tactics). Tactics for attacking:
If health drops below (percentage) then (Flee/Use Item/Switch Weapon)
If enemy health drops below (percentage) then (Flee/Use Item/Switch Weapon)
If number of enemies is greater then (number) then (Flee/Use Item/Switch Weapon)
If weapon has no ammunition then (Flee/Use Item/Switch Weapon) Explore:Explore the current area in the event, this will reward you with either information, items or nothing. This is a gamble. Rest:Your character rests if you are within a safe area (dictated as such in the area name as either Safe or Unsafe), this restores 25% of your health. Trade:You can trade either with an NPC vendor, listed if there is a friendly NPC vendor in the area, or offer another player items in exchange for some of theirs. For example: "Trade: Gothic Neko, Stimpak (x1) for Purified Water (x2)". It is then the second player's responsibility to reply to the message until the terms of trade are agreed upon, if there is no response then the trade will be rejected. Use:You can use a fixed object in the area (these will have relevant requirements next to the object when listed).
A player may also use as many minor actions as they want per event, these can be any from: Drop Item:Drops an item on the ground, this is similar to throwing the item away as it will not be available to be picked up next event. Equip Item:Equips an item which can be equipped, placing your currently equipped item in your inventory. There are two slots which can have items equipped; armour and weapon; you do not need to specify the slot. Use Item:Uses an item you possess on yourself or another. For example: "Use Item: Stimpak on self".
If a player does not comment their actions for that event then they will remain with the party. Failure to comment their actions on a second event will force the party to "leave them behind", which would remove their name from the player listings due to inactivity.
A character may attack another character within the party, though this will not be automatic. To hinder any foul play or selective player vs. player, both sides must agree to the fight by replying that they agree if they are challenged. If they do not agree or they do not reply then the character will not attack them. Standard rules apply for looting enemies so any inventory or equipped items of the loser will be in the possession of the victor.
Reaching maximum weight, or going over, will result in the character being unable to move quickly. If this happens then a player may not Explore or Attack till they have committed an action which would relinquish them of the overhead weight.
If a character's health diminishes, reaching 0, then they are pronounced dead and will be marked as (KIA) on the table. This character can no longer be used and the player who owns the character may not continuing playing.
If a character's Radiation Level (Rad. Lvl.) reaches 15 then they will suffer from minor radiation poisoning (-1 END), increasing to major radiation poisoning (-2 END, -1 STR) at 30 Rads and at 50 Rads the player will be pronounced dead, following the same rules as if the character's health diminishes to 0.
