I bought it about four hours ago and it's at 48%. The average download rate is 177 Kb/s.
I just want to know if it's being slow or not. It does require 7GB of Hard drive space when installed. That's pretty big.

It sounds kinda slow. I get almost a med a sec from steam. Man, I love Steam deals. Almost wish I hadn't bought it way back when.

Anonymous userDon't be too sad, guy that just bought it. You got a nice box with cover art, a real instruction manual, and (this is important) and ACTUAL game disc that you will have regardless of reformatting or crashes or viruses. I never understood paying for a bunch of data and not all the other stuff you're supposed to be paying for.
-
Anonymous userWell you might as well getting steam it is 50% right?? might be worth instead of getting 50$ at best buy :]
-
Anonymous userIt's still cheaper in Polish shops. A lot. Yay for silly $ to € Steam conversions. And UK price is only a bit lower than one in shops.
-
Anonymous userDont get it if you havnt played FO3 yet.
Youre still paying more buying it now, rather than waiting for the GOTY edition with all the dlc. Even at half off, if you bought this nwo, then all the dlc, you'd pay more than waiting for the GOTY edition which has all of the content youll ever need.
-
Anonymous userDon't get it. You can wait until GOTY edition and get it and all the dlc for less than you would for buying this and then getting all the DLC separately.

I just gave in and bought the discounted PC steam version, after I already have the 360 edition (just built a decent gaming PC fairly recently.)
Now I have two versions of the same game... someone shoot me.

You can reinstall games anytime from Steam. It doesn't matter if you need to format your hard drives. Much easier than having those useless game boxes around your corners.
-
In Poland you can now buy a Fallout 3 + King's Bounty: The Legend pack (in their respective boxes) for 69.99 zlotys (ca. $22) with a coupon from the CD Action magazine. Beat that, Steam!

Anonymous userIs there any word if the vats slow-down issue for PC is going to be patched? Everytime I enter vats mode my keyboard/mouse repeatedly switch on/off, it makes vats barely usable.
