Hey there! I'm Kastera1000, but most people around here just call me Kastera. I'm one of the active administrators at Nukapedia.

Background
I joined The Vault on February 27, 2010 when the wiki was still hosted by Wikia. Prior to that time, I edited articles as an unregistered member, only when I occasionally spotted something wrong or strange about them. I wasn't concerned with formatting or templates, but rather correct, useful information and grammatical errors. I started "seriously" editing The Vault in the latter part of the "Fallout 3 era" (2009 - 2010) of The Vault, so to my dismay, there were only a handful articles to truly contribute to, seeing as all other editors had got to them before I did. There was still tons to do on them, but with me being a new user, I was naive and didn't know any better.
After the release of Fallout: New Vegas, I found myself editing and creating more articles than I did during the Fallout 3 era. On April 2, 2011, I attained rollback status and have been using it basically every single day to revert both bad faith and all in all weird edits. About two months later, on June 21, 2011, I submitted my admin proposal and a week later (June 28, 2011), I was an administrator.
In November 2011, when The Vault moved to Curse, I went with like most other administrators, but also stayed here at Wikia to help during the transitional period. Although I don't actively edit Nukapedia pages anymore, I try to visit here every day and see what's happening around the site. It's only the occasional revert I find in my e-mail nowadays.
Major contributions/accomplishments
- Fallout 3 overhaul project: finished the project with help from Porter. My main focus was particularly to the Point Lookout, Broken Steel and Operation: Anchorage sections and sections M-R and S-Z. I was actually made project leader by the prior leader, in part for my efforts (and being the only person working on the project) and in part for the fact that Gothe couldn't perform his duties.
- Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas song articles: made all articles conform to the same layout (i.e. all articles followed the same layout, the video link was not broken, the video link was cited and the videos were of the same size.
- All Fallout 1, 2, 3, and New Vegas characters: Filled out Interactions sections to the best of my abilities with accordance to FW:LAYC including Quests, Effects of player action and Other interactions.
- Fallout 3 creatures project: Contributed a majority of contributions on the project, seeing as everyone else went for the New Vegas creatures project instead. I closed it soon after the Fallout: new Vegas creatures project.
- Fallout: New Vegas creatures project: Contributed to the project by mostly merging articles and doing peer reviews. After left for a long time, I closed the project and awarded medals to all the active participants.
- Fallout: New Vegas characters: Added the tables for Honest Hearts, Old World Blues and Lonesome Road characters.
- Fallout: New Vegas endings: Removed 1,129 unneeded links from the article. It's quite obvious I'm half bot.
- Add-on trailers: made the pages for all the Fallout 3 add-ons and Fallout: New Vegas add-ons, except for Dead Money. Those were fun to make.
Fallout Answers
Alongside editing The Vault, I work as a bureaucrat on The Vault's sister site Fallout Answers. This site addresses problems and queries encountered in Fallout games that are not directly addressed on The Vault. I work alongside Big McLargeHuge, who is the other bureaucrat on that site. It's notable that I'm far less active on that site as opposed to this site, but that doesn't stop me from visiting it every day! I was the one responsible to tracking down some people from here to add on to the Fallout Answers admin team, which has significantly helped. If you experience any problems while you're there, feel free to let me know.

- For the most part, I trust unregistered users, but am wary of members with under 50 edits.
- I'm big on article conformity.

Behind the scenes
- I began using The Vault as a primary research site when playing Fallout 3 in December 2008.
- I play on PlayStation 3 and occasionally PC when I feel like dicking around with console commands.
- The largest amount of edits I've made in a single 'day' is 224 (July 23, 2011). I say 'day' because I define a day as from when I wake up until I go to bed. The day doesn't end when the clock strikes midnight.
