Hello all, I'm Guardian (previously officially GuardianOfTheWastes, now Ug-Qualtoth). I recently took some leave of the wiki, but now I'm back to put in some work over the summer again. Currently, I am working on the film and creating pages for this.

I live in England, and joined the wiki nearly two years ago. I have been here for a few periods of high activity since then, but dropped away many times too. Primarily, this is due to the fact that content creation is my forté and without new content, I lost interest.
I first learned about Fallout when I bought Fallout 3, and still remember the first time that I came here. I got lost trying to find Vance, even with the Game Guide and then I googled it in an IT lesson and ended up here. Then I got hooked on the universe, and backtracked and got FO1 and FO2, and then later FNV. I would say that FO2 is my favourite, and I would say that I was an expert in this. More recently, my research into the film seems to have been unprecedented, and so I can certainly say I am the most knowledgeable about that, if anyone wants help with it.
Role in wiki politicsEdit
I am heavily involved in the forums, and would like to think that my words carry some weight to them, not from an egotistical stance, but rather in that I make well considered statements, and sometimes manage to bring people over to my way of thinking.
I would classify myself as progressive, and would like to see the wiki stand-up stronger to its claim to be the ultimate guide to the universe in expanding its article base and their detail, and also including more in the way of fan based project coverage, though this is seen as a radical viewpoint.
I was an admin, and was the first ever moderator. I even created the moderator icon. I was also the first person to be made an administrator on the Vault when it moved to Curse. However, after focusing on my first year at university, I had my rights removed (with my encouragement) and currently have none.
As for Nukapedia or the Vault, I am yet to decide where my affection lies, and am personally worried about the Vault's future. It would certainly be a shame for it to die, and I hope that at some point Ausir will return and allow us to use the old branding, which I advocated was his to begin with.
Personal relationshipsEdit
I have some good friends here, and some people I work extremely well alongside. Itachou made a particularly lasting impression on me, and I won't soon forget him. I can sometimes come across as egotistical and aloof, but this is not my intention. I will not, however, make any concessions in how I operate here, or my opinions, for anyone, and this is something that has caused friction in the past.
Ug-QualtothEdit
I renamed my account Ug-Qualtoth to represent the new slate that I wanted when I returned here; reincarnated better than before. However, I still prefer my old name GuardianOfTheWastes and this is still my account name at the Vault. In true Iroquois fashion, I have buried the hatchet concerning old disagreements, and am ready to start again, and get to know all the new people who have joined.
