The first snow globe you should find is at the Goodsprings Cemetery it is near the water tower and next to the only grave that isnt shaped like an oval and has rocks on it. The next snowglobe is at the lucky 38 casino on the cocktail lounge floor when you walk in directly to your right behind the cash register. The third is in vault 21 in Sarah Weintrub's room. To get to this one you must enter the vault 21 gift shop go into the vault go down the first and second staircase turn left go into the hall and past your own room to sarahs and pick the average lock (You will loose a miniscule amount of Karma). It is on the night stand directly in front of you in between the two beds. The next is at hoover Dam it is located inside the visitor center on the counter. Another is at Nellis Air Force Base it is located in the museum on the desk to your right. There is another snowglobe located at Jackobstown in the building were you find Dr.Henry it is on the reception desk. The last can be found at the old mormon fort in the corner building, this is where Julie Farkas sleeps, it is upstairs on the shelf. Remember you have to go to Jane and state you have some snowglobes for Mr.House's collection. If you have already killed Mr.House its still a good idea to collect them and get the Achievement/Trophy.

The add on snow globes are not relevant to this quest but still give the player 2,000 caps or in the sierra madre add on chips. The Zion snow globe is found in the Zion general store its best to do the quest Tourist Trap at the same time instead of making two trips. The Sierra Madre snowglobe is found in the Salida Del Sol, North, near Deans secret stash inside a house. Go down the stairway and out to the street then by looking up you will see a hole in the wall near you. In order to reach this you must go up the staircase that is around the corner to the SE and then follow the rooftops back towards where the hole was seen. Note that the add on snow globes are immidiately transported to Mr.House. Wheter he's dead or not.

What better way to spend some fun quality time than collecting some snow globes? Explore the Mojave Wasteland and find all 7 of them?

Useless Baubles or Fancy Trinkets?[1] is an unmarked quest in Fallout: New Vegas.

Quick walkthrough

First, visit Mr. House and after complimenting his snow globe collection, you will be able to sell your snow globes to Jane for 2,000 caps apiece. They will then be displayed in the Lucky 38 presidential suite on a stand. When the player finds a snow globe in one of the add-ons, it will automatically be transferred to a shelf in the presidential suite and the player will automatically receive the 2,000 caps.

Detailed walkthrough

When you first visit Mr. House in the Lucky 38 penthouse, you will be greeted by Jane, the Securitron immediately in front of you as you exit the elevator. She is also the only Securitron with a woman's face. To give her the snow globes you must exhaust the dialogue option "What's with the snow globe collection?" and then state, "I have some snow globes for Mr. House's collection." Note that if you kill or disable Mr. House, she disappears. There are seven snow globes in all, excluding the add-ons. Jane will give you 2,000 caps for each snow globe and, after selling them, each one will be added to a display stand in the presidential suite.

Locations

The snow globes found in add-ons are not part of this quest, but still pay the 2,000 cap (or Sierra Madre chip, in the case of Dead Money) finder's fee. Their locations can be found on the snow globe page.

Notes

After the Courier has returned 7 snowglobes from the Mojave Wasteland, the snowglobe stand will "sparkle" for a moment.
