For Unity!— Unity patrols

The Unity of Broken Hills (not to be confused with the Master's Unity) is a faction in New California in 2241.

Background[]

The community of Broken Hills, created in the Fall of 2185 by Marcus and Jacob, consists of ghouls, super mutants and humans living in resonable harmony and as one body: this is where the name of their community comes from, not an affiliation to the Master as the name may suggest. It is possible, however, that Marcus subconsciously made this link to the idea of the Master, removing all discord: rather an idea for all races, not just one race, what was the purpose of the construction of the community of Broken Hills.

Although certain groups occasionally have disputes, they are not of great enough magnitude to dissolve the Unity. The group cohesion is apparent, and this is made more so because of the fact that they have appointed a super mutant as their leader, even though all groups are of roughly similar number. The Unity seems to lack the prejudice of those outside the community, too.

Interactions with the player character[]

Unity patrols can be sometimes encountered by the Chosen One. Aside from being well armed, the Unity's patrols consist of two of all its members: humans, ghouls and super mutant nightkin (without Stealth Boys), and this clearly displays the togetherness of the community. They can be encountered in random encounters around Broken Hills.
