The tweezers is a type of pre-War hand-held medical equipment used for grasping and extracting during surgery. This item is portable, can be placed on any flat surface, and is made of stainless steel. Tweezers have two pincers and a small handle for handling by one hand. This item is associated with other hand-held medical equipment on compartment trays and can often be found accompanying them. The tweezers can also be bought from different doctors throughout the Mojave desert. One of them is Doctor Usanagi in the New Vegas medical clinic. Tweezers are used in Vault-Tec Vaults.
Tweezers in the Vaults are communally owned and were passed from one generation to the next. The expectation of Vault residents is that tweezers will be properly cleaned and maintained to ensure their survivability.
