Father Tully is a priest who can be found in a church in New Reno's Commercial Row in Fallout 2.

Background

An elderly man in brown robes with whiskey blotches on his cheeks, Father Tully is almost perpetually drunk and when not, looks for money to get drunk with. Although he claims that the Temperance Union helped him break his habit, it's apparent that they did not and is still a alcoholic. Yet despite his habits, he is the only preacher in the city who listens to confessions of the mighty and wealthy, making him a good source of information.

Other Interactions

Father Tully can provide the player with a lot of background information about the New Reno families, if bribed with alcohol. He can tell the player about the Stables and can warn them about Salvatore's laser weapons, one of the ways of opening a minor quest dialogue option with Eldrige in New Reno Arms. This is similar to the introductions Jules offers, but is a lot cheaper.

Father Tully will also divorce married characters in exchange for alcohol. The character will be rewarded with the Separated reputation.

Upon completion of the game, he presents the player with the Fallout 2 Hintbook if the player talks to him.

Cut content

There was going to be a quest to retrieve a bottle of wine for Father Tully from one of his old friends in The Abbey, a location cut from the final game. This quest is added with Killap's F2 Restoration Mod.
