Behind the scenesEdit

50 Vault-Tec C.E.O.The following is based on unverified behind the scenes information and has not been confirmed by canon sources.

The Tucker Memorial bridge may be a reference to Preston Tucker, an automobile engineer. P. Tucker was responsible for many innovations that were quashed by the automobile industry of his day. For example, a third headlight, centrally placed, that changed its aim according to where the front wheels were pointed, providing a driver-directed light source. Note that, to this day, only luxury cars offer this feature. A car on one side of the bridge has a centrally placed device, where one might normally find a radiator grill, that would match this design philosophy. Additionally, Tucker developed solid state HUDs, placing some readouts, such as speed indicators, above the windshield rather than in the current dashboard paradigm.
