The Thorn guards (simply known as guards in-game) are four mercenaries hired by Red Lucy to protect the Thorn in 2281.
Background[]
The guards are mercenaries hired by Red Lucy to provide security to the Thorn. They ensure that none of the arena's fighting animals escape from their cages, as any stray deathclaw relentlessly savaging patrons to death would prove disastrous. They are also responsible for escorting any disorderly spectators out of the arena and hunting rats and feral ghouls, and for protecting the establishment from Fiends.
