The Tunnelers is a side quest in the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Lonesome Road
Quick walkthrough Detailed walkthrough The quest begins when you enter the cave. During your journey, you will encounter many tunnelers and the tunneler queen . The quest ends when you've exited the Boxwood Hotel roof .
Beware that when you approach the end of the cave you will see an archway. When you pass through that the tunneler queen and at least 4 tunnelers of varying types will appear and it is very easy to be overwhelmed by them. Even high level characters will face a very tough fight here.
Please note that when you exit the cave another conversation with Ulysses begins and ED-E will be taken away from the player as well as losing ED-E as a companion. Everything that ED-E was carrying will also be given back to the player.
