Layout
Edit
Inhabited by giant soldier ants as well as some giant worker ants and radroaches. There are two bathrooms on the first floor, though only one of them can be entered. The other one has a broken door in front, making it impassable. Behind the door you can see a broken pipe gushing water. This gushing water can sound like bugs scurrying, misleading the player into thinking there are more insects in the building.
Notable loot
Edit
- Help me! - note, found on the ground just in front of the room at the back of the building.
Notes
Edit
- If you have the Search and Mark perk, it is possible that the filing cabinet on the 2nd floor has some random loot in it, however there is no way to access it, unless the Courier is a skilled jumper, or if the player uses hacks.
- On the first floor next to an easy locked door is a note that says "Help Me!". If you open the door you can find the skeleton of the person who presumably wrote it.
- It is possible (but very difficult) to reach the second floor of the building using the debris by the desk. If you can, there is a door that opens, and leads out to an un-coded area above the other rooms in the building. It is open, white space, and you can see everything in the rooms below you, because the floor is see through. Since there are no coded walls, you can walk right through them. When you do, you see the wasteland outside of the building, but you fall back in to the main room, where you first used the debris to access the second floor. The door on the second floor will still be open.
Appearances
Edit
The Basincreek Building appears only in Fallout: New Vegas.
